The notorious bottleneck slip road in front of Casa Square/Newway KTV no longer jammed

As evident from google maps traffic layer, i can see significant improvement from the realtime traffic layer vs the average history traffic layer from sunway toll plaza to puchong jaya.
Due to the faster left lanes puchong jaya bound traffic flow, the traffic from kesas slip road may take longer time to joint the main stream LDP traffic. Over all I think this is the best out of the many traffic re-alignments done in the past so far as the toll paying motoririst gets better priority. QUOTE(JayC75 @ Oct 12 2012, 10:41 AM) the LDP toward bdr puteri in front of IOI Boleuvard is having 7 lanes, i guess that is the largest no. of lane that u will ever see in a township. That's one of the main reasons the slip road in front of Casa Square no longer bottleneck, thus easing the notorious u-turn jam in front of Naza Motor. The closing of Bus stop in front of PBB and 2 out of 3 existing left turn entrances to Puchong Jaya commercial area also helps to ease the traffic flow in front of IOI boulevard. QUOTE(PangurBan @ Oct 21 2012, 10:12 AM) All it takes is for one car to break down in that putrajaya lane, or some accident. That whole slew of traffic habis. Total standstill. Putra jaya express lane reduced to one lane ? Then I would rather try out the incresead puchong jaya lanes to go to Puteri or Utama. |

QUOTE(PangurBan @ Jan 10 2013, 05:42 PM) Not easy to enrol Chinese independent school now. Got enrolment test before acceptance.2014 onwards no more PPSMI. Students have to say "kebarangkalian" instead of "probability" or "Sepuluh pepuluhan Sembilan" instead of " ten point nine" in 2014. Hopefully new government in 2013 can reverse this policy. |

QUOTE(PangurBan @ Jan 10 2013, 08:48 PM) Not always true. I know a bright young fella, went to an independent chinese school in Klang, and he's now studying Physics at the University of Hong Kong. That's essentially an orang putih institution. At independent Chinese schools, apart from the UEC exams, you have the option of also doing the SPM and STPM syllabus and sitting those exams as well. That's right. My nephew went to independent Chinese school for his secondary education then went on to Singapore University for his degree, master and phd. Now working in Singapore. The ability to speaks perfect mandarin and English helps him a lot in his career advancement. |

QUOTE(ozak @ Jan 12 2013, 12:06 AM) In the past, we have only handful of local universities, now we have many. In SME and SMI nowadays, bosses are mostly well qualified. I think Lim Goh Thong or Loh Boon Siew example is very unlikely to happen again. QUOTE(Icehart @ Jan 12 2013, 12:57 AM) Those are mostly spm graduates, or didn't manage to pass SPM and become school dropouts. Agreed. But that is not always the case as only minority from these group become successful. I've a fair share of people around my circle of life who were once school dropout and still struggling right now. The same also goes to educated people who had a degree. Some did it, some still hanging tight on the rope while some fell. Thing is entrepreneurship is not everyone's cup of tea. Regardless of whether a person is Malay-Ed or Chinese-Ed (there's no longer English-Ed in Malaysia), better educated person has better chance to be successful in life compare to SPM graduate or school dropout. |

QUOTE(rayng18 @ Feb 4 2013, 06:56 PM) sure or not which route u took, I also left abt 5pm from there, then I went to Kuchai(parent's place for abt 15mins) then balik bdr puteri reach home around 6.15pm I made a silly mistake by turning right at the P.Ramli - Raja Chulan traffic light T junction. I should have turn right towards jln tun razak then use the putrajaya highway to Bukit jalil. The silly right turn forced me to use Jln tun perak, jalan sultan, jalan syed Putra, okr ..... |
