Yea it backups all the pics

hi guys, just wanna let you all know that i successfully JB my Ipod touch 4th gen following these steps. i faced similar problems like some users here where Absinthe program said there's a problem and had to restore the ipod. then i followed the steps and now my ipod already JB'ed.

oh, it's my first time JB too. i'm a happy man now.

i do double back up.. i copied all the pictures into my computer.. what im worried now is the contact.. touch wood scare anything wrong.. lol

I have jail broken my iPad 3 dun worry

Added on May 26, 2012, 1:42 amFor Mac it sync automatically over iCloud with Mac contacts app, not sure about windows though, and pics are auto sync with iPhoto...

im not mac user but i dont know.. but for contact there is a way to save.. using the microsoft outlook.. can save but then dont know how to upload back to phone if its missing.. so i dont bother to backup to outlook.. i hope contact will get back once i restore from back up

Now I just got an "ERROR: could not connect to lockdownd"

I'm using windows 7

The contacts, the settings, the sms and the photos and the settings (all your wifi passwords) are saved in the backup file.

Added on May 26, 2012, 1:47 amI've given up on APTBackup. It's been more than an hour so have rebooted the iPhone and looks like I will have to do a fresh restore .... doesn't take that long other than restoring my 229 Apps. Damn.

hi all,

i have this iphone 4, jailbroken with 5.0.1. I would love to JB it to the latest which is 5.1.1. I haven't update my phone to the latest firmware.

my question is
1. do i need to update my jailbroken phone to 5.1.1 FIRST only JB it OR i can straight update my phone straight with the jailbreak of 5.1.1 which is at http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=22184 ?

Jailbroken my ip4s successfully with one attempt. The only thing i regret is not backing up my cydia tweaks, now need to find them back one by one.

i don think its possible or there are any updates with the jailbreak.. the site u gave was the guide on how to jb.. btw previous post there are steps wat to before jailbreak..

sorry, i don't know much about iphone jailbreak. do you mind to explain to me? do you mean i can't update my jailbroken phone to the latest jailbreak? :/ thanks for enlightening me.

Cydia's bit slow

first backup ur phone.. then update for the latest ios 5.1.1 .. after that use absinthe to jailbreak.. after that restore from backup.. plenty step by step guides are out there.. u can google for more details guidance

sigh.. not suitable for iphone 3gs?
