to all sifus,newbie here
here is my situation,mine is iphone 3gs(local set),previously i was on 5.0.1 then i try to restore to 5.1.1 bt i unable to do so(error 21 keep prompt out).then i manage to kick d recovery mode out.then im nw on ios 4.3.3 where i also duno y it becomes like tat.
so wat shud i do nw so tat i manage to restore to 5.1.1?

dear gurus, quick question, can an iphone4 (ios5.1.1) be untethered jailbroken? was looking at the first post and seems to potray that only tethered jb is available for iphone 4.. is this true?

Download absinthe 2.0 version for your iphone jail break. and yes is untethered.

Hey there, thanks for your response, but isn't absinthe's jailbreak for the A5 chips only? Or is the newer version of absinthe able to jb A4 chips (i.e. iphone4) as well?

nope...absinthe untethered jb support A5 devices and also A4 devices...just use the latest absinthe..

guys need ur advice.actually mine is ip4s a5 chip 5.01 JB.i want to update to 5.1.1 and JB again.my 1st step is i just update in iTunes not the clean restore and then Jb with absinthe 2.04 Jb done but im weird no absinthe icon in my device just left cydia icon for past JB.already use clean restore but still no absinthe icon.

There is no absinthe icon in the iPhone. Absinthe is the computer program to jailbreak the iPhone and it will install cydia in the iPhone.

Jailbreak started causing me trouble yesterday when SBSettings started to lag and I can't pull down the notification centre. I had to wait for it to load. Anyone with this problem ?

i have problem to upgrade my iPhone 3gs from 5.0.1 to 5.1.1. tried update thru phone , from itunes just click restore, DFU and restore. all kenot work...

first few times stuck at verifying with apple or something, then error 1602...
