dear gurus, quick question, can an iphone4 (ios5.1.1) be untethered jailbroken? was looking at the first post and seems to potray that only tethered jb is available for iphone 4.. is this true?

hi all, appreciate if someone could help me out here. I've a locked iphone 4, running on iOS 6.0.1, is there a way to unlock it? I've read the first page and am still dumbfounded.. there seem to be no guide on how to do it (gevey sim, how do i go about this?)
also, how do I check what base band I'm on? :S many thanks |
