To those who feel that their iPad is running too warm, I just wanna share my thoughts and a bit of my usage habits.

For brightness, I set it at about four-tenth of the brightness with auto brightness off. This way, the screen won't be too bright till it hurts your eyes (100% brightness is just plain crazy, IMHO), but bright enough not to strain your eyes.

I'm using a smart cover, and as I love to caress the silky smooth naked back of my iPad, I'm not using any extra cases.

In these settings, I've been using my iPad for hours on end, playing games, editing photos on iPhoto, reading books, surfing the net and even FaceTiming with my girl. And all the while my iPad did not run uncomfortably warm. Just lukewarm, not even as bad as my iPhone after a long phone call. Oddly enough, playing games did not make it even lukewarm, but reading does ...

I envy your perfect screen. A zero-defect product from Apple should be the norm. A few of us are plainly unlucky here! 

Mine dun have noticeable yellow tint, but found a couple speck of dust under the screen after trying to wipe it out to apply SP

What about your serial number? Looks like DYTH is the one to avoid.

A genuine case for 1 to 1 exchange, or are you going to just bear with it?

I also got this problem and i go back to senq~the salesman say only can send for repair cannot get the 1 to 1 exchange imediately...sad

Challenger allowed me exchange 1 to 1 immediately.

But mine is also DYTH wo.

I did testing on the spot for dead pixels and dusts and yellow tints.

can 1 to 1 exchange meh?cause the senq salesman say it only apply for iphone only and he dun want give me change==

How to tell of the yellow tint? I do notice that my right keyboard looks a little yellowish now. Or not...

IMHO, no one can guarantee whether the yellow tint will disappear after some time. If it's too obvious and distracting, send it back to the Apple Service Centre. I don't think they will do any repairing on screen, most probably they will exchange a new one for you.

Refurbished also better than torturing screen. What I worry is that even the replacement unit is problematic, then I have to send it back again, going through the whole waste of time process. There's a guy on MacRumors saying that he exchanged 13 iPads to get a problem-free one, I'm not willing to do that, especially when it's Mid Valley (closest to me, but parking is a nightmare).
