QUOTE(Salamander @ Jun 13 2012, 09:11 PM) What options do we have for an audible alarm? I've seen a few of the Viper ones for PriusC on youtube but no idea if it's available here. Good looking car, was it in perfect condition when you received it?Check everything? SA told me that PC just go service every 10k, not need every 5K, due to almost half the time it run on motor instead of engine. This post has been edited by conqu3ror: Jun 13 2012, 10:18 PM |

QUOTE(timeonce @ Jun 15 2012, 07:46 AM) Thanks mate. I upload the picture of the service cost in first page. wow.. i thought the service interval is every 10k km. How come Malaysia is every 5k ? Thanks for the info, I think it just as reference, not a compulsory service for 5k KM. All depends on the SC itself.Yesterday my SA told me, this batch PC arrived about 2700 unit. The next batch will need to wait till Oct which about 3000 unit. Probably whoever didn't get this round will need to wait till Oct. @Timeonce Just wonder, any update from your SA about your PC? Found these salesman really good in juggling customers. BTW the loan approve really take time, so funny that I only get Maybank Loan Approve @2.45% the day I getting my PC. No choice I had go for other alternative bank. For the rusted part at exhaust paip, my SA confirm that this is normal for every car (even the New Camry), and the rust just only the surface of the metal, just like the disc break. He said better don't spray paint or anything, as it already protected. (Dunno how true it is) This post has been edited by conqu3ror: Jun 15 2012, 09:16 AM |

QUOTE(timeonce @ Jun 15 2012, 09:26 AM) to conqu3ror I didn't take up Maybank loan, cause when it approved I already submitted for PBB loan @2.46% to purchase PC (Just monthly RM1 different).wow.. thanks mate. Looks like there is alot of PC buyer in Malaysia. Still no news from my SA yet. Think maybe he didnt get allocation for Metallic blue yet. TT sad.. wah.. i think i better whatsapp him as if not have to wait till Oct. Most weird is they dont even take my salary slip and supporting document for loan as he mention no problem one haha.. Wow.. quite good rate ah 2.45%. Then what happen ? So just forget about Maybank Loan, as get approval only, never sign any doc yet. Bank loan approval may take 1-2 week plus to process, so better submit 1 month before the car arrived in order to avoid delaying. |

QUOTE(engah @ Jun 15 2012, 11:52 AM) I used to owned a Wira and I only sent to SC once, ie first 1k. I used it for 11years and it had never broken down half way on the road .I serviced the car my self most of the time, oil, air filter, oil filter, and spark plug. Air con and alternator never mulfunctioned even after running for 200k+km. How about those electrical parts, battery & motor? For PC, I think the local SC guys probably just do all these basic things. The point here is: you can DIY if you want to save money and time. I know SC will reset the meter everytime once they service. Otherwise there will have be warning sign keep pop out, asking you go service & maintenance. |

QUOTE(zorross @ Jun 19 2012, 05:03 PM) nice tray ^^ I wonder can get it somewhere in KL? When received our PC, SA should have wash & clean for us. That is good enough, no need to wax.Added on June 19, 2012, 5:04 pmDo you guys wax ur PC immediately after received? Is better save your time & energy to wax another time. I believe in 1st 3 month, just normal car wash is enough. Unless your car super dirty & need another protection. |

QUOTE(EVA01 @ Jun 20 2012, 12:28 AM) The std PSI is written at the side of the door. First car for you? This is not my first car. Yes, normally you can see the std PSI note at the side of the door. But I can't find on my PC. Mind to take a picture to show me?I believe is around 33-36 PSI. However, I pump to 42-43 PSI at the moment to save fuel. Will try other combination see whether which combo suit ur style better. The PC mostly carry 1-2 person most of the time. I will try 46 PSI on next fuel up to see any saving. Just remember don't overpump your tyre sidewall limit can d...I believe is 49-50PSI range? Added on June 20, 2012, 12:32 am Are there that many PC on the road now? But seriously, I just saw 4 PC on the road at my house area in 10min of my road drive today. White, Silver, Black, Red...gosh... Added on June 20, 2012, 12:32 am Are there that many PC on the road now? But seriously, I just saw 4 PC on the road at my house area in 10min of my road drive today. White, Silver, Black, Red...gosh... I will prefer to pump as the standard to prevent unstable in high speed & have even tire wear out. Now I still not see any of Aqua Blue & Blue Metallic PC other then mine. Seem these 2 colours still rare on the road. |

QUOTE(EVA01 @ Jun 20 2012, 09:33 AM) Lol, I saw a Blue Metallic a while ago? Ya, that color is very very rare Where you saw it? Maybe is me Let me snap and upload it later. BTW, most of the time the FC I can get is 23-24km/l. I always use the ECO Score Screen to monitor my acceleration in ECO & EV mode. Mind to share what is your Maximum speed you attempted? Myself attempted 150km/h with the car still stable & no floating feel, just the air drag sound getting loud. |

QUOTE(EVA01 @ Jun 20 2012, 10:52 AM) I forgot which road I saw it d... It was park at road side illegal parking...haha..whether is Kepong or Kajang I forgot liao. ![]() Lately have been pushing the PC so FC drop. I manage to get 26-30 km/l while I concern about FC. Don't look at the Eco score, look at the Fuel consumption meter. Accel as fast as you can (FC ~ 10km/L) then release the throttle and maintain the FC meter (around 30km/L) the speed with maintain. When the FC hit 40 km/L the speed will slow down very fast so try maintain between 30~40 km/L range. Speed ranging from 60-80km/h to hit 30-40 km/L range, 90 or above will drop to 20-30 km/L range. Yet to try max speed, hit 145km/h on highway when overtaking thou. I think PC is japan made, so should have the 155 km/h limiter installed. QUOTE(SkyGig @ Jun 20 2012, 10:55 AM) I have a couple of times achieved 31.2km/l and I was driving very slowly say about 50-60 km/h. Air con temp is 25.5.I have tried accelerated my PC to 150km/h too.It is stable no floating feel. I think my car dun have that tire pressure info sticker, been looking around but cant see any.I never drive to Kajang & Kepong with my PC. Not me then. Wah, good FC you all having. But I think most of time FC really depends on road & traffic condition. I got 74km/l, but is a short trip & mostly down hill. My area a lot of hills, gonna accelerate most the time. |

Don't think a simple voltage stabiliser will help for Hybrid car. Seen Toyota put so many effort to help improve FC, I very sure they won't miss out these simple thing.
You got your PC aldy? |

Slgr - Bkt Rahman Putra Normal Mode, Full gas tank, no hypermiling technique. Hope to get better mileage as the car is more broken in...wonder if i can hit 30km/l I always feel the car very slow until I realise the speed already reach 80-100km/h. Maybe because the eCVT & nice sound proof. You will rarely feel the accelerate, engine rev & wind sound. |

QUOTE(astronomer_me @ Jun 30 2012, 12:24 AM) Congrats to all who just received their PC...so jeles laaa.... Get a good tinted, sure it will help & PC have a good air-con system, so didn't really feel entering to an oven. Probably you should get a white or silver PC which good in reflect heat. For me, Anyway, for those who have been using PC for quite sometimes, have u guys ever have to park under the sun? Do you think the car takes a long time to get cool in the cabin? I always have to pasang aircond almost to full blast a few minutes after parking under the sun for my vios..wonder if PC is easier to cool down. Since you got the car plate, what is the outcome if your PC didn't get it within 30 days? You really trying your luck. |

QUOTE(keanutan @ Jul 1 2012, 11:09 PM) i dont think they have ever test drive the car before .. that why they think electric motor only how can save fuel untill 30-40 % .. and where can get power from electric motor.. cannot climb genting and cameron ... what u think the japanese design this car so that people can drive to playground play with their kid?? and all the U.S , JAPAN , and those who buy hybrid car is stupid?? they who dont believe is the clever 1 .. we kena tipu by toyota already they is no such things as hybrid system .. how can car operate by battery and motor?? Sorry to for misleading & cause you offense. We very99, NEbulaSurfer all are PC owner & currently driving it. Just joke around.test drive first then start complain .. dont know anything look for info .. we owner know the dashboard is not nice as others brand but our hybrid systems is better .... battery price is so expensive .. of course because it is new in the market .... how much is the phone u buy 3 years ago?? did u ask for the battery price did u compare it to current price ?? how much it cost now rm5 or rm10 example : did you all know 3 years ago astro remote control price is rm35 in the market ?? now selling rm10 for 3 people still say expensive ?? hybrid car cannot go fast and no top speed? how fast u want to go u want a below 100k 0-100km in less then 10second then who going to buy super or sport car?? no top speed is 160-180km not fast enough for u ?? what speed u prefer 200-220km?? Prius C really a nice car, technology advance & fuel economic car. Not denying you may not feel the acceleration, due to CVT & the car design to save fuel. But if you step the pedal to the floor, you will feel its a monster. You won't realise you are speeding till you see the speedometer maybe already 120-140km/h. Most my friends still asking me why I buy PC instead of Vios, City, Altis & etc as you get bigger space & car boot (but themselves driving MyVi but never complain). Also telling me the petrol you save probably won't cover your battery replacement cost & others problem about the PC fancy technology. So in summary, if you are conservative & insist these are the major problems, then PC is not suitable for you. Better get a petrol engine uncle's car which more suit your lifestyle. |

QUOTE(vey99 @ Jul 2 2012, 02:27 PM) may not be issue to you, but are u able to activate hill assist with that lock in place? +1Added on July 2, 2012, 2:29 pm how quickly we have forgotten about wira 1.6 and perdana gearbox. those item cost far more than the little PCs battery. People just worry about the battery cost. But my friend's Naza Ria engine break down after 3 yrs. Cost of replace is 13-14k for the whole engine. Then heard others also have the same problem of short lifespan of engine. My cousin Mercedes Benz aircon fan spoil, cost RM3k++ to replace. Even though the high repair cost, but still lot of people driving it. Try compare the cost & the life span. The battery problem is not as bad as them. By 8-10 years, most of us had change to other car already. I saw plenty of Lexus CT200h OTR, the numbers are more then Prius & Priuc C together. It just the matter whether you afford the car & the maintenance. |
