Tested the speedometer with my civic just now running parallel with same speed.
Conclusion - pc speedometer is same with my civic = same with others car.

How's the cabin noise of the car when travelling around 110kph? Also how noisy it is on cement road along Jasin to Melaka?

Anyone try sound proofing their Prius C?

Quite true, when met a high level thief, no matter what lock also useless. So far any one heard of Prius being stolen?

Currently driving matrix, hope it will be less noisy than my current car

1) Can the DVD AVN display Chinese Wording?
2) Anyone manage to get their Video Playing work while driving? How you did it? Heard 2 version of it, one is to "CUT" a wire that will detect movement. 2nd is applying new firmware to it.
3) Anyone manage to get a nice quality carpet cut? Was quoted RM 150 for a normal carpet even though we only have 3 pieces all together.

For all company Hybrid Car, Prius C are the TOP Ugly car. I get back Petrol more better than this car. I never Buy this car

august only got shipment of black color by september all color will be available .. those who got their car this three month are all first batch car ..

found out from the net also it was import to manufacture batch , it say start from jun got 2700 come in to malaysia .. the color batch thing is from toyota umw themself say last time call to ask why the delivery so long have to wait..then the next bathc will be on august and september..

car arrived at malaysia have to wait for the a/p for passing kastam. then go to umw they need to change some setting to suit our climate and install alarm system and do their checking ... recently some say the a/p for this year is running low already .. so all is depend on our goverment .. yes our PC is tax free but yet still need a/p to pass

yours aqua blue is it ? mine also at first want aqua blue but SA say have to wait untill sept or october the max .. then change to silver after 3 weeks cannot tahan search others dealer got orange snap orange now happy with this color..

hybrid doing 189 still get 16km/l some others normal car also cannot get this kind of milleage at highway low speed hihi ...

So RM27k for Sales tax and UMW Malaysia commission hehe. ^^ . But FOB still got alot of things to pay right- like cost & freight + Insurance + Carriage fee + Carriage insurance + delivery at terminal + Place and duty paid..

today i realised why my PC no power, damn it the damn coil carpet is limiting my throttle position..now i cut a whole can hamtam full throttle felt the differences..

also the tires are crappy, handling is shitty, interior a bit cheapskate.

but save petrol la..

i felt like sampan driving the car.

seems like a few owners have raise tis rattling sounds issue..mine lucky enough..now doing 32xxkm mileage now the car is healthy without any weird sounds else than regenerative braking..i am sure due to i seldom on aircond to drive..coz i drive in early morning n late evening only for work routine...

I booked Apr and was told that the estimated date to get the car is somewhere in Sep... hope it's true this time

can get it if u willing to pay 300k plus . buy private AP and pay the tax ..

T.T my SA told me Nov only can get my PC oh....!!

Mine, the annoying dashboard rattle sound is on the upper part of the left side dashboard somewhere in between the passenger airbag and windscreen. Have to wait till 5k service just complaint. Hope the local SC will be able to fix this imported model bcos my fren's Prius 1.8 facing more problem (extra new sound) after they open up the whole dashboard; managed to rectify the first problem but cause additional new sound in different area. Make sure the SC inform you how they rectify the problem. Please update me too..

Went to toyota SC subang jaya this morning 10am to fix the dashboard, passenger seat and driver power window rattling sound, took around 6 hours , dashboard rattling somewhere around HU and engine push start area fixed !! power window vibrate when on uneven road also fixed!!! but passenger seat still can hear a little bit sound
during 5000km service gotta complain again

Just went to Toyota showroom to test drive this car. Loved this car.

I am just wondering is there any problems with this car? What are the best discounts can be given by salesman?

May I know is it true that this car is more powerful than Vios?

dont be too excited with the first 2 bar, the fuel tank is build in cone size, my self can get around 300km on first 2 bar, after it, u will get lesser millage.

Btw, does Prius c comes with Hill start assist?
