cannot boot @4.6 at 1.285V Vcore...maybe next time i'll try harder  tongue.gif

Bro your gflops is low. Already on service pack 1? 4.4 should get 120+ gflops.

Stressing my ram @ 2400mhz 11-13-12-35 2T, i already loosen up the ram timing. So far 50min stable prime95 90%>ram. Should i stick @ 2200mhz 10-11-10-28 1T? hmm.gif

If the 2400C11 is stable, i'd choose whichever performs faster.
Run several benchmarks such as Pi, 3DMark etc to compare.
What's the vdimm for 2400C11?
*
I set it @ 1.65v. Here's 2400Mhz 10-12-12 2T, 1 hour stable. Will stress test longer tonight. biggrin.gif

Good attempt bro. I believe you should get the error faster if min FFT is set to 128k.
*
How about max fft? I use 8k min & 1792k max. Usually I will get error around 10min if not stable. I read somewhere 1792k & 1344k is good for checking instability.

So far 3 hours stable with a bit loose timing, using your recommended setting. Will try for long run tonight. smile.gif

Okay, here's the result after delid smile.gif :
8 hours prime95, 90% ram, 4.5Ghz @ 1.3v.

user posted image

Before this, my temperature will hit 104-105c @ 4.5Ghz. So delid improve my temperature by 9-10c. Not to mention, im only using cheap TIM here, deepcool thermal compound rclxub.gif . I bet i will get 12-15c improvement if i use liquid ultra wink.gif . Now im perfectly stable with this speed flex.gif. Btw, it took me around 10min only to delid, seriously im really glad i do it right. laugh.gif

Added on November 9, 2012, 9:37 amUpdate:
It seems 4.5Ghz is the max oc i can get with my cooler. 4.6Ghz already hitting 104c (after 20min) & I need at least 1.4v to be stable without any WHEA error. rclxub.gif I really have a bad chip here. So 4.5 it is. flex.gif

What a huge drop bro pretty sure you could shave off another 9-10C with liquid Ultra.
I will collect liquis Pro today & to be compared with Ultra this weekend, hopefully.
Salute to your bravery on delidding. Congrats!
*
Thx bro.smile.gif Idk what happen to me yesterday. I was finding stability for my ram and when i saw the temp, i was like "ok delid time" laugh.gif. 100Mhz might not be big improvement but it really worth it. Seriously why Intel use those really2 cheap TIM. When i touch those stock tim, its already hardened and there's only little contact between the IHS and the die. No wonder the temp is really high rclxub.gif.

I've hit my limit. Can't get close to 1.4V vcore, temps will be too high.
Now stressing 4.7GHz @ 1.34V. If this won't last for 18+ hours, that means I need to be happy at 4.6GHz.
Temps spiked to 100C at small FFTs. sad.gif

Might delid in near future tongue.gif
*
I think you can hit 4.7-4.8 with delid + liquid ultra. brows.gif Even wit cheap tim i manage to decrease the temp by 9c. thumbup.gif

Liquid Ultra is the best thermal compound available in market?
*
Not exactly but for ihs to die tim, yes its the best out there because its almost identical to fluxless solder. Metal>TIM in heat transfer. smile.gif

I ordered Liquid Pro from their website on 21/10
The parcel actually reached Msia shore few days ago while I was not at home.
So roughly took 2 weeks to arrive.
*
How about the price & payment method? Might interested in getting one. smile.gif

Btw this is still using cheap deepcool tim, wait until i replace it with liquid pro. possible 10c lower than this one. brows.gif
With this voltage i should be getting around 4.8-4.9 but my proc is so......shakehead.gif

1.35v or 1.5v or 1.65v?
*
Mine 2200 @ CL11 1.5v, lazy to tweak tongue.gif. I could run 10-11-10-28 with 1.575v. smile.gif

What's tighest timing to make sure its will run stable at 2200 or 2400?
*
The tightest timing i could get is 10-10-10-25 2200Mhz with 1.65v. I could boot 2400 CL11 but really hard to make it stable, even after loose some timing only stable around 1 hour then crash. So i ended up @ 2200Mhz, so far no problem at all. nod.gif
