Helloooo again sifus!! i have some problem.. basically i OC my cpu (3570K) to 4.5GHz with 1.4v and it was stable for like 2 weeks already..... did all the test.. prime95, memtest.. ALL LA lol... then.. this week.. i install visual basic coz i have to do my assignment.. i notice when i install this particular software... i got BSOD.. like 3 times.. coz i install and reinstall the VB for 3 times. one is about some bad pool header... one is aboud memory something... damn... can anyone explain? PLUS.. within the 2 weeks.. i did alot of stuff already... play games... all games working.. no crash.. but after installing this software.. BSOD.. -.-

Hello all sifus, Im planning to buy a i5-3570K and OC it till 4.5Ghz. What cooler do I need? I wanted to get a H100/H80 but I heard its not worth the performance... Any recommendations?

Hello , if I OC my i5 to probably around 4.4 ( from 3.4) will it benifit me in games like GTA, Fifa? I'll get a weaker GC if i choose to OC.

Example:
i5-3570K 4.3/4.4GHZ + 7850
Or
i5-3470 3.2Ghz + Gtx 660ti

You still got headroom there, why don't you push more and see how far your chip can go.

I've been doing some reading on other forum & really jealous seeing their 3570k able to go 4.7 with the same voltage as mine.

Maybe my luck has run out when picking 960T, manage to unlock & max oc 3.8Ghz @ 6-core .
Tbh, I was looking forward for IB oc. Made my jump from AMD to Intel after seeing SB oc really well.
I have zero experience on WC. My best route would be H100 but I bet it will not lower my temp drastically. The best solution would be delid, which i think i don't have balls to do it . But then, I still got a lot of things in my mind right now. Currently saving for gpu upgrade. Idk when will i be going under water.

I've seen this thread b4, they all so damn lucky.. Im really jealous with this guy. Not so many people got a good 3570k.

I would like to but my mobo limits my oc for now. imho hyper212+/evo can handle oc around 4.3~4.4Ghz. More than that you need a better cooler. For temperature, just keep your load temperature below 90c & it should be okay.

For Samsung 30nm kit user, any success hitting 2600mhz?

And also for 2600mhz @ 1.65v do we need heatsink or any cooling fan to maintain the temp? Or it's just fine without any?
