This was delivered by PosLaju today, Newegg Malaysia quite fast thumbup.gif
BUT 2133MHz is still no joy mad.gif Either my CPU has a sucky IMC or my board is lousy with auto secondary/tertiary timings shakehead.gif Since I couldn't go higher I tried tightening the timings instead, it's currently doing 1866MHZ@9-9-9-27-CR1 with 1.475v... Gonna try CAS8 later.
*

Maybe you didn't feed enough juice. This Sammy should do up to 2400+ easily roughly at 1.65v
You might wanna go through THIS

2400MHz@11-11-11-30, 1.65v was actually the very first setting I tried, the board kept rebooting itself at POST code 21 sweat.gif
*
Like you said earlier, could be BIOS' auto timings/subs are just not good enough hence needs a manual dial to make it worked.

BSOD 23 is IMC related, you got among the worst chips ever seen.

Hey, does overclocking a cpu can increase a fps in games?
*
There isn't much point. It can help bring the minimum framerate up & reduce some stutters, but really it's pretty minimal.

I am tempted to go Xeon E3 V2, since I'm not interested to do cpu overclocking. Any idea if the E3 V2s are able to use memory dividers higher than 1600? I have an Asus Z77 board.
Nice one! My Sammys do 2133 10-11-10-28@1T with default voltage, but i never tried 10-10-10 before.... and now my Seasonic is on RMA doh.gif

Found THIS guy claimed that he's able to clock his Samsung to 2000 C11 @ 1.35v

Dumo always has bunches of nice CPUs & RAM kits... his OC skill is awesome
He called me last weekend thru phone. I was shocked when he greeted "Apa khabar?"
Then he intro me that he was born in Indonesia but now resided in NY, the US.
Dunno if he's working for Asus but he always mentioned about Asus. We talked about Haswell Asus has actually received the samples for testing.
My 3770K bought from him already reached post center & ready to deliver tomorrow.
Can't wait to test it ASAP

What is load temp with Vcore 1.51V?

Edit:
Dumo sold another 3770K..............
*

The IMC is 2950 capable just that need some tweakings, cooling or board dependence.
The Vcore is not tweaked yet for sure. This CPU would be my benching chip & this rig is not 24/7.

Yeah when i PMed Dumo that time the IMC 3080 chip has been reserved sad.gif miss out sadly.

Anyway this is not my most expensive chip that day i bought a 3770K 6750MHz for $600 USD.

It's Asrock Z77 OC Formula on sale here?
Guys easily reaching DRAM 2800+ (with proper BIOS )

Edit:
ASRock Z77 OC Formula Sets a New World Record............7.136 GHz!

IMC is more important for RAM OC. I got some chips that were 2800 capable but I sold them coz the other one has better vCore. smile.gif

ASRock OC Formula has nickshih's DNA that's why it can be an awesome OC board. But dunno when will it reach Msia.
Asus Maximus V Extreme also still not appear here for sure it's a stronger mobo than the MVF

Very cheap ,as MVF is RM1300 in shops here. nod.gif

Edit:
Fair rate...... USD1=RM3.10

I looking perhaps to play with for MVF Open box, price only RM650 (RM735 total):
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...82E16813131854R
or
ASRock Z77 OC Formula  (RM830 total):
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16813157328
*

Both are good boards.
Asus mobos in Msia are too overpriced, that's it.
Unless if you find hikari85, MVG RM730 vs others in KL RM950 lol

Added on September 16, 2012, 9:44 amMVF is good for Samsung IC's
MVE is better for PSC overclocking, PSC likes thicker board?
ASRock OC Formula is as good as Giga, a decent memory overclocker and hopefully easier than Giga.

Added on September 16, 2012, 9:32 pmAlright according to Asus MY HQ, they will not bring MVE to our soil. sad.gif

So,how is your TridentX 2800 with from Dumo new 3770K?   hmm.gif
*

Still can't achieve 2800 with whatever effort.
Tried booting at different BCLK & slowly raising it via AI but maxed out 2780 only.
Dunno what happen bro Dumo given me lots of advices but just couldn't make it 2800.
Tested with my 2800 capable Team 2600C10 kit also will not post at 2800.

The same chip passes 32m @ 2900+ on cold.

Most prolly I will ask Dumo to exchange with another chip, if it's still refuse to clock to what it should be.

Did you guys with ROG Asus, using "ROG Exchange" to load same setting in your BIOS?
or maybe wait for MVE to arrive.

Btw owi,
did you notice that our TeamX 2600 4x4GB has different XMP then 2x4GB kit.

2x4GB
*
No I don't play with ROG Exchange.
Don't even care with XMP profiles.
