QUOTE(owikh84 @ May 2 2012, 05:48 PM)
From various sources i observed
3770K vs 3570K
Generally at the same clock 3770K needs vcore 0.1v less than 3570K
Somemore 3770K comes with HT.

Eg:

3570K @ 4.5GHz 4C/4T needs 1.3v
3770K @ 4.5GHz 4C/8T needs just 1.2V

Now i only dont know at this clock which one generates less heat? Theorethically HT is hotter.

Later i run linx @4.5ghz n show you.

Seeing people with water-cooling also facing a hard time keeping the temperature low. sweat.gif

No you can't & mobile CPU is not meant to OC or you will end up toasting your chip.
On Alienware laptops MIGHT be possible, like kelvin_hata OCed his mighty Alienware lappy powered by i7 2920XM (SB though)
*
u may get alienware with extreme mobile cpu den u do the overclock. biggrin.gif

sad.gif i fried my i7 3770k + mobo + PSU last friday. is not due to over voltage or overheat... is due to TNB issue cry.gif few of my electrical item also fried cry.gif fxxk tnb!!

back to i5 3770k and another 2unit i7 3770k will get on monday... doh.gif
just for the info... most of the 3770k can reach 4.8ghz at 1.08-1.12v biggrin.gif

The i7-3770K has at least 200MHz better OC headroom than i5-3570K.

All cores will run at maximum turbo speed.

I wonder what is the safe range for both voltage and temperature?

According to the link, 1.52v falls within the safe range?
