There IS NO offline sigh

ive told myself not to keep my hopes up for blizzard since sc2.. so i would not expect any offline.. and i dont think there will be offline mode..

Nah i rather opt for online save. Offline saves will lead to item duping and imbal characters.

yeap I prefer online mode to prevent cheating!

Online only mode is good, but why SEA have to connect to US !! ??
Latency very high man, why can't they have Aus or SG server instead ?

but if i rmb correctly offline chars in d2 is different from ladder chars on bnet right ? so who cares bout duping?

I had high hopes for this game. I even preordered it.

But I found the beta mindblowingly boring. Sad.

they don't want to open a SEA server because there is no demand here....

they already tried it with SC2 and the SEA server died because the serious player would straight jump to the US server for better community

i don't see any problem play in US server, been in beta for almost 3weeks+ d hardly any un-playable lag...98% of the time its so smooth i don't even feel like i'm playing online...i'm using 1mb streamyx only...

Str - Pump this to equip stuffs
Dex - Pump this to equip stuffs or to hit something
Vit - Pour all your points into this
Energy - LolNo

Well, before playing beta.. I was planning to create Witch Doctor > Wizard > Monk > Demon Hunter > Barbarian.

After playing it, I'm going Witch Doctor > Demon Hunter > Monk/Barbarian > Wizard

I feel like Wizard is very strong, but very repetitive. Anyone else feel that way too?

to those who keep complaining that beta is boring, remember 1 thing.. you just finish tutorial mode =)

remember d2? remember saving cain in 3rd quest act 1? go play it again. tell me how fun it would be =)

Try playing D2 and forcing yourself to just the first 3 quests and never being able to go beyond a few lvls.

The real fun always comes in later for RPGs. Wouldn't use the beta to judge the game. After all, that's not what the beta's for.

Well that may be how you and 90% other players play, but total removal of the system meant that everyone will lose that chance to tweak the build slightly to their liking.
Of course I hope we will be able to manipulate our builds by using equipment.

D2 Act 1 was boring because it was hard.
D3 Beta is boring because it is easy.

The final release has got to be much better because this beta has offered nothing to excite me so far.
