This was true for D2, same thing for titan quest, sacred 2 etc

Blizz themselves said it's easy on beta but it gets a lot harder later. Can't judge that on this beta.

I'm very impressed with how they're handling lag though. I played with my friends in the states earlier and you can't notice it.

Try playing D2 and forcing yourself to just the first 3 quests and never being able to go beyond a few lvls.

The real fun always comes in later for RPGs. Wouldn't use the beta to judge the game. After all, that's not what the beta's for.

From what i heard, when you play the game alone it runs locally on your machine (even though your latency bar is shown at all times).

This feels about right since when i play SP i feel zero lag.
