I'm not the one raking in our cash. Why should I be the one who does the thinking?
I'm just disappointed that so far this game doesn't feel like the old Diablo 2 at all. Except the hacking and slashing.

to those who keep complaining that beta is boring, remember 1 thing.. you just finish tutorial mode =)

remember d2? remember saving cain in 3rd quest act 1? go play it again. tell me how fun it would be =)

I am actually worried that the game will be damn short.

Im not even know how much does the Beta take up in the Act 1.

If its less than 20 hours to finish the whole game on normal, then, no thanks.

I think if you juz want to finish the normal mode for the whole quest, it would be quite short. IF say complete till the inferno mode, then it will be more than 20 hrs to finish it.

Listen to what people wants like no one wants the damn always online shit without reconnect. Let people play offline and get rid if that shitty RMAH.

Stop dumbing down the game, as some parts of the game is seriously lacking. Not like its bad, but it feels a bit empty at some places. The whole skill tree in RPGs has been replaced with a CoD styled unlock tree.

I am not saying D3 Beta is bad, as i have put in 20 hours this week playing it. It's fun, but Blizzard seriously needs to innovate the correct thing, not slapping shit like always online or the RMAH.

I like D3 is because of it's gameplay and the ease to coop, but having a short main story is seriously a put off.

No way im paying so much money for a short game.

If thats true then, i think i can get 40 hours on Normal mode solo. Even the beta took me 2 and half to 3 hours to get through. The first playthrough was about 4 hours for me.

yes i believe if u wanna finish the whole game, 20 hours u should be able to do it.

but the essence of diablo game starts only at high level (lvl 60 in D3), the thrill of farming is a huge part of it.

if you plan only finish normal = gao dim the game already, suggest not to buy the whole game, just borrow from your friend and play for few days and its done smile.gif

The reason i want long playthrough is because i want more replayability with D3. I like to coop with this game, as its easy to find games. If the campaign takes 10 hours to fully explore, i think, there isnt a point of buying even if i want to play coop with people.

And i do not believe in games only starting at certain high level. That's bad design if thats true as people have to grind through countless hours of rubbish to fully enjoy the game. The state of the Beta is very enjoyable, i would say, so the notion of the game actually starting at level 60 is bullshit.

In short, i'll probably play single player once with probably Monk or Wizard. Then, i'll just play coop with friends or strangers. Not interested with the PvP at all.

If they retain the gameplay and feel of D2, later another bunch of whiners will scream "THIS IS JUST DIABLO 2 WITH OVERGLORIFIED GRAPHICS!! I AINT BUYING THIS SHYT" sort of things

RMAH is a good way to control scams actually. No matter how strict the rules are, some arseholes might just buy it from third party sites. Not everyone is like you who stay true to the community. You dont want any illegal farmers to wreck your D3 experience right?

As for the always online thingy; well, it prevents cheating and item duping right?

i love the online mode as i can play it on my laptop or my computer without the hassle of copying my character around.. i just wish that d3 can have deeper customization mode as this game is not any like those mmorpg out there...
