Oh..

Body memang sama, cuma FL and FLX springs are different, FLX are stiffer.

But 15" with low profile tyres should be OK, thought won't be as comfortable.

EDIT: Just saw that you are FLX, so should be fine. Davidke20's is a BLM, different springs.

Added on April 27, 2012, 2:33 pmBy the way, just now at the tire shop I asked if my FLX can use 195/55/15 tires (currently stock 195/50/15), the foreman said should be fine.  hmm.gif  hmm.gif

i am using 195/55/R15 tyre.. no problem at all.. no sagat... cool2.gif

Wet road, no need to drive fast...
Dry road also no need to drive fast...

Want to save money buy cheap stuff, must be smart in maintaining the stuff and know the limits of it.

Its not about going fast at all. Even going 60 on a wet road feels wobbly, likes its gonna aquaplane.

Added on April 27, 2012, 6:00 pmOn the topic of shifting gears without pressing the brake, I found that on my FLX i dont need to press the brake to shift from P to R.

Are you sure? just now poweredbydiscuz ady quoted an example, so now i'm not very sure about it, i tot they use the same body for all saga  shocking.gif

That is NOT ALWAYS the case. As I mentioned in my previous post, you have more chance to sagat if load up your trunk + backseat with 55 series tyre. If the rim is FLX SE type + 50 series tyre sure no problem geh.

If your car is FLX, spring is harder than FL/BLM, 50 series tyre will be bumpier. So, its a give & take. I'm a happy user of 55 tyres, although if my in laws at my backseat, I'll have to drive very carefully to avoid sagat.

Side note: after stuck in 55 series 15 inch tyre, car become taller blink.gif mileage dropped about 10%+/- sad.gif also experiene wobbly feet, pickup become weak and slow. However, to consider the oversized wheel, I think the mileage was affected by the error calculation instead, as I figured I used to travel to work takes 14.1km, now is only 12.5 blink.gif so, don't complain, try to enjoy it.

Dude, Saliverstones Cynergy N3 indeed literally no traction at all during rainny days. I was doing 100kmh at NS way from KKB to Sg Buloh with whole family in the car, the car is floating all the way back. You may hold your steering straight, but the rain will wash your ride away. You will feel like the car is drifting at straight road. 2 days later, immediately bought my tyre laugh.gif didn't know 55 can sagat oso doh.gif anyway, its all good now :thumb: definitely more confident! Placebo or not, as long as I feel good & safe. laugh.gif thank you koh424! Thank you kenjilew introduce 4eyed uncle! Thank you everybody let me test their ride, so I can tell the difference & make the cost effective decision. U guys wrock! icon_rolleyes.gif
