But if we put sound dampening material under the bonnet would there still noise coming throught the firewall/dashboard?

Also what is the model documented on the registration card? Mine is flx but it put saga fl only there.

any sc can cater this problem, but not all has the stock for it... especially things which normally no one will claim, such as the exhaust flexible hose (nenas).

Yes. The thing is it only can reduce the noise, not eliminate it. Lets buy together to get cheaper price haha.

Same with me. My registration card is Saga FL too.

you cant completely eliminate noise lah... even in a BMW 5 series, the new one, when the driver push past 3,000rpm, the engine growl is quite noticeable in the cabin too.

What is your opinions on these sound proofing options?

1. Fender soundproofing - RM400

2. Doors, boot, dashboard soundproofing - RM650

3. Chassis foam - RM300

i will tink dat the rm 650 package is more worthwhile if u ask me....fender soundproofing u can ownself get bitumen and do it urself....there is even spraying type bitumen is available...chasis foam???it's main objective is not for soundproofing also if u ask me... nod.gif nod.gif

This will only reduce sound as heard from outside the car. It has almost no effect on noise intrusion inside the cabin.

No one here will help you if you wanna spend money on your car. We also can't help ourselves. Embrace the poison brows.gif brows.gif
