Both around the SAME in term of performance.
In the end, they still need V6 SuperCharger script to improve or fix the micro-lag.

go buy a few token from lrt..cheapest i think 70c? use nfc retag to identify them.. stick 2 token 1 for on 1 for off

what is this lrt token you are talking about ?? sorry ya .. very long never use lrt already. The last i remembered they where using cards

they use token nowadays.. the kind you find in car parks like e-curve/cineleisure.. plastic coin thingy.. supposedly it can be read by nfc.. and thus you can use retag app to remember them and do things accordingly..

i'm not sure if it's legal to just buy the token and walk away thou lol.. watch your back

Speaker is a small issue, although people complain being too soft. Volume+ solve this problem.
As headsets (3.5 mm jack) If you are audiophile and like to mess with equalizer, you can make it into beat like phones

In the end, its about user preferences.

Can I use the script on stock ROM?

You need to mod the services.jar file, and something about being odex-ed ROM cannot be done, if I am not mistaken.

I do notice micro-lags when the menu fades in or out sometimes. Only custom ROMs are able to fix this?

It's the Launcher problem itself.
The TIME of TRANSITION or the ANIMATION FPS is TOO LITTLE.

To make this minimal, I'll suggest Apex Launcher with Fade In/Out instead of Fly In/Out for App Drawer to Homescreen transition.
