Nah, is for those people who only want update stock firmware and don't wish to mess everything up. So relock bootloader and use it like normal biggrin.gif

Of course if you intend to root or customize, you not gonna lock back right sweat.gif

About the MMS issue, is AOKP specific bug... where ROMS under AOSP will not affected. Zaphod-Beeblebrox will track it down, it already have logcat from one user.

Oo. If flash often, better just leave it unlock since it will wipe everything if unlock.

Haha, once you go for custom rom and rooted phone, why lock back? its like once you pick up RM 10 on floor you not gonna drop on floor again right xD

@kadajawa Man, thanks for the reply! I might re-think back on what to purchase then. But still, android is my first choice. Hehe

Haha, sure. I've been thinking what to buy too... research here, research there until I got a headache. laugh.gif If you can live with the sub par screen but like a really sexy and slim phone (or extremely good battery life) then really consider the Motorola Droid RAZR/RAZR Maxx (Maxx being the RAZR with an added XXL battery, you can buy an upgrade kit but would probably void warranty).

At least in Germany (haven't checked Malaysia) the Motorola Atrix 4G and HTC Evo 3D are a lot cheaper (around RM800-1000), in terms of speed both aren't bad (especially the Atrix), however they are rather fat. The Evo 3D does, well, 3D, so if you like that (playback and recording) then it's an interesting phone too, the screen should be rather decent (better than Atrix), and you can watch 3D movies. All these phones should get ICS sooner or later...

Oh, and Atrix and RAZR have a full Linux installation on them (or you can install it yourself). Plug it into your TV, connect BT keyboard and mouse (not even necessary I think) and you have a basic computer.
