Well actually I do agree that the airsoft guns, especially the realistic looking ones should be banned in this country because there will be many ppl who will abuse it. But why are the police taking it so seriously to the extent of charging the guy in court. Shouldn't they just have confiscated the gun and given the person a warning? After all it is only a "toy". They should go after the guys with real firearms, not ppl with airsofts.

I think if you used steel ball bearings, the BBs will damage the gun cos it is too heavy.

But many Airsoft guns look realistic wor... especially those made of metal, with markings and trademarks too.

But you're right, no idea why police charge the person in court. Funny (in a sad way) that our police put so much effort to clamp down on these toys.

Because they dare to fight people with airsoft but not dare to fight with people with real steel. And they need to let the public know malaysia police is actually doing something to catch people with fake real gun but never bother to catch mat rempit that always robe people at the same area.

True also.... i believe i seeing that too...usual all those mat rempit hangs around my housing area and rempit their bikes at 3am.... police didn't even show up with their mp5.... mad.gif

but ... to be fair with them .... they also afraid that this might get out of hand (Selling fake real guns)..... robbing is more worst then getting rempit bikes..... i think they are in the prevention mode.... since it still in the early stage of growing....doh.gif

hmm....maybe i should get a sniper and put a hole in rempit's head... brows.gif

"Someone" said mat rempit is good, that's why police will never do anything to them. Honestly, last time mat rempit just hang out around with their motorcycle only, now upgrade to rape, robe everything again and again at the same area. Many reports has been made to police but they did nothing. If they want to track those rempit down is damn easy but they just don't care. They rather spend time on catching airsoft lover while leave those real crime away pretending don't know about it only.

Ok, we shall leave the police to their work, no matter catching rempits or airsoft owners.

Back to the topic.

I would love to get an AEG even if the price is a lil' high but the only thing stopping me now is the "after sales support". What I mean is, if the gun is spoilt there is no way I can get anyone to repair or service it. Furthermore the ones being offered here are CYMA, JG, BOYI, etc. and I doubt they can last long. Imagine if you spend RM1000 on an AEG and it gets spoilt in a few months/weeks.

So I would rather get a springer as there is no electronic parts and will be more durable.

For a springer I would prefer a pump gun or sniper rifle as it feels more realistic to cock after each shot. It will be odd to get a springer automatic rifle/gun (M4, AK47,M5, etc.) as these guns are meant to fire in bursts.

Just my 2 cents.

So if anyone can help me with my request, please PM me.

Thanks!

Springer? It will last you not more than 2 months if you play everyday. GBB and AEG with proper maintain can last for years. If you do not take good care on it, of course it will spoilt and no one can help you. People with JG already prove to last more than a year while most springers last not more than 2 months with everyday playing, which one you think it is better?

Nowadays even CYMA also improve their product. Do you still think springer is good? Most company will get their hands on better product, springer is outdated and become old stock, that's even worst to say after sales support because most springer once spoilt won't be able to get fixed.

silicon based oil is preferred to protect those bushes and shims.
