A part censored from the official website verdict.
"I expect the owners to have more dignity and integrity than to believe a story in a newspaper," Dalglish said. http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story/150705.html |

QUOTE(DarkNite @ May 14 2012, 06:29 AM) No, he's not and never will be.Just, he, at least, deserves more respect than anyone else. I'm not saying he's never wrong (coz he's been wrong alot of times this season), but just respect the man for who he is and what this club means to him. |

At the end of this season, KD should respect the expectations of Liverpool FC, owners and its fans.

QUOTE(Rotuham @ May 14 2012, 03:08 AM) A part censored from the official website verdict. Hes being sacrcastic, no?"I expect the owners to have more dignity and integrity than to believe a story in a newspaper," Dalglish said. http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story/150705.html QUOTE Even prior to that reverse, reports had suggested that Dalglish would leave over the summer, with Wigan boss Roberto Martinez being lined up as a potential replacement. QUOTE(Rotuham @ May 14 2012, 01:21 AM) tony barrett, paul tomkins and co are all there to put a positive spin on things.be assured that even we get relegated they will be putting a positive spin. Paul Tomkins articles all contain statistics. He writes based on numbers. His good mate is Oliver Kay who is a statistician. While Tony Barrett is a Merseyside writer, he doesn't always right in favour of the Reds. In any case, they often justify their opinions so nothing wrong there. The progress has to be measured by results end of the day.Did blackpool get anything for playing good football last season? Nope.Did swansea win anything for playing good football this season? No again. Mourinho was spot on when he said football is a results business. Kenny just gave an interview that his first full season is not bad.Are we supposed to believe that? Why isn't he taking failure like a man? Swansea finished 11th from playing good, attacking football beating the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City. They were unlucky not to have beaten Man Utd after dominating the games as well. This coming from a team many felt would be relegated right away. Not too bad if you ask me. That in itself is a victory. Look how QPR celebrated like they won a cup after surviving relegation. Did Blackpool play good football so much so that they created numerous chances over the course of the season only to be let down by poor finishing or the hitting the post? Football is indeed results based, I don't disagree. The point is question here is how much time should be given to someone to achieve these results? 1 season? 2? Like I said earlier, we've given Houllier 6 and Rafa 5. We did finish behind Everton in 5th in Rafa's first year. With the emergence of City and the rejuvenation of Spurs, that task to finish in the top four will be that much more challenging. Quotes from the said article. QUOTE And Dalglish felt his side had deserved at least a point, but acknowledged their campaign, which ended with Liverpool below local rivals Everton for the first time since 2005, had not been good enough. Not the complete tool you think he is. In terms of insisting he'll stay on as boss, which manager admits they're going to get the sack? Kenny is a fiery Scotsman and I'd expect nothing less from him, that is to go down fighting. He had admitted we haven't accumulated enough points and wants to rectify that."We won't run away from the points tally or hide or say the points tally is satisfactory to anyone who works for or supports Liverpool Football Club. We will face up to reality. The performances have been excellent in a lot of cases but not the points tally, so we will try our best to correct that." http://www.sportinglife.com/football/premi...sea_Quotes.html QUOTE(Petre @ May 14 2012, 01:26 AM) Please point out the wrong in people asking for Dalglish to be afforded time and respect. This post has been edited by Duke Red: May 14 2012, 08:32 AM |

I believe KD will be given a "Golden Ladder" to step down, not to terminate his service directly but continue to serve the club in a different capacity. The old guard of the club will advice John Henry of KD's contribution and it will not be right to just sack him like that. They will create a win win situation where everyone will be happy in Anfield, especially to those who are calling for his head, those that have not seen his (KD) playing days before............
