Stunner rom developer has now deleted his requirement that you need to flash abyss kernel to flash his rom. This is always what I have always said - it is not necessary. Only necessary if you wish to restore back your GB rom

Flash first without wiping data , just wipe caches . If you see a lot of FC or other issues than reflash with wipe data. Restoring back your apps/data with TB just takes 15-20 mins only

Not necessary true. I always get full root flashing so many times from rooted GB rom ( Cassie LC1 lite )
this only happens if your GB rom is not full root. many users assumed theirs is full rooted just because the apps that need root works
So if anyone wants to flash directly from their GB rom - test first whether yours is full rooted by using root explorer - if you can edit system files, delete and add files into /system folder this means your rom is fully rooted

YOu use Mobile ODin to flash the ICS repack NOT through recovery

Take off battery and wipe data and caches - restart phone. I assume you have CWM recovery installed. IF you do not have , just wipe data from stock recovery

And if your GB is only partial rooted , you must flash the Chinese LP1 repack first through Mobile ODin , than only flash the Stunner rom directly from Recovery

I just look at the latest Midnote Team 1 revised rom flashing requirements - so leceh, need to flash 2 about 500 MB rom , a base rom and another Team v1.0 rom . If you start from GB , you need to flash another Midnote 2.1 rom first ( this is his modified Chinese repack). Those who wish to flash Midnote latest Team 1 ( actually is 3.4 ), better read and follow his instructions thoroughly and do not miss any step

Added on April 19, 2012, 10:14 amIn the first place , why you worry no CWM app. After you have flash the CHinese repack , manually boot into CWM recovery ( off phone, press volup+power+home). You do not need the app to do it. If you want, you can always download this app separately which I have posted and is now listed in post#6

You go to download mode by switching off phone : press vol DOWN+home+power . Connect phone to PC. Use Odin to flash the rom you want

Not aware there was an Android version . But its specs meant for lower OS version below 2.0 only

Rooting is VERY safe. It will not delete any data and will not harm your phone. The chance you will brick your phone I would say is one in several million. As long as you know how to follow instructions , you will be fine. Make sure phone is at least 70% charge before trying to root. It just take few minutes to do it

Stunner 1.4.19 just completed download. Now proceed to wipe data/caches and install on top Stunner 5

I wipe both data and all caches. Restoring all my apps/data from TB just take only 15 mins - so no big deal
Perfect install and restoration of all apps.. Absolutely not even one case of FC encountered

Just backup your home screen settings in Nova or Alex n choose restore back. You have such option in these launcher. Maybe only some widget need manually reassign

Root will not change or delete data. Very safe. No need even to consider backup. After root install cwm than you can do full rom backup. Install titanium backup to backup your apps

Recording default is in 3gp for Stunner rom

Of course you can flash it in GB using Mobile Odin

Set it as option in power button through euphoria/power menu

Contacts easiest sync with Google Gmail
SMS use SMS backup & restore perfect app work across all android version from 1.5 to 4.0.4 or use appextractor restore from your nandroid backup
