QUOTE(fujkenasai @ Apr 18 2012, 10:56 AM) SME is Samsung Electronic Msia while AP stands for I think "approved or alternative product" - is a 3rd party import by other importers not through samsung Msia. So warranty is handle by the importers and not by the usual Samsung service centersAnd if you wish to buy AP , buy from those with shops and are reputable. I would advise you not to buy from 3rd party resellers who is freelancing and does not have a shop. Simply if you need warranty claims - it will be a headache as the reseller will probably pass it back to A who will pass it down to B or even C than only back to the actual importer |

QUOTE(entaro @ Apr 18 2012, 11:32 AM) I mean the restore of the apps already moved to SD in a previous ROM, once restored from titanium in stunner will the apps continue to work or it won't restore at all? In TB , menu/preferences select restore to internal memory. Those apps which used to auto install on ext Sdcard will fail to install and your restore will freeze midway when it comes to such appsWith this change, it will restore back but into internal memory And for some apps that auto read the ext sdcard eg audio and video players , you have to reset the path to /mnt/emmc at those apps settings This post has been edited by benny888: Apr 18 2012, 11:52 AM |

QUOTE(volrath @ Apr 18 2012, 11:57 AM) Question. For BIS, remember to cancell your monthly BIS service if you do not need the BIS service anymore. Its data plan is just like any other data plan. iphone data plan similarly can be used - it is not restricted just to iphones onlyCan I operate a SGN with a BIS carrier(Blackberry) simcard? Without any flaws? Can I operate a SGN with data plan that aren't specific to the telco plan? Eg; iphone plan, change device means a normal process. Scenario: I buy iphone 4S + plan, and use the plan on my SGN and throw the iphone from 10th floor. Thanks in advance. However please check the data rate of such plans versus normal data plans to see whether it is similar or more expensive. it is different for different telcos This post has been edited by benny888: Apr 18 2012, 12:07 PM |

QUOTE(blindbox @ Apr 18 2012, 07:34 PM) Anyone can tell me where to get ICS LP6 modem? Download lp6 modem from post #6Random ramblings: So far I find the ICS Stunner to be the best. So damn fast, that I can't believe I stayed on Gingerbread for a while. Only bad thing is that I can't install S Memo on it (right now I'm trying to find different ways of installing it). None of the alternatives given in the ROM can match S Memo. S Memo gives the most freedom in using the pen (come on, if you're going to use it like a notepad, FreeNote doesn't work. Too much button pressing hassle). |

QUOTE(rickysay @ Apr 18 2012, 08:07 PM) For those with difficulties on using Stunner with no S-Memo, another good alternative is Evernote. It has a simple enough layout and even sync with your computer. Only spen no keyboard optionAdded on April 18, 2012, 8:08 pm Can we write using keyboard on Jotter? Or it's solely for s-Pen usage only? Added on April 18, 2012, 8:22 pm QUOTE(lhooipg @ Apr 18 2012, 08:19 PM) Benny, TakAda trick How come yours can & mine can't? QUOTE(blindbox @ Apr 18 2012, 10:23 PM) ICS Stunner beta 5.0 so kernel is LP5. Restoring backup two times, bricked it two times. Maybe it's because I didn't use recovery mode and wipe data and everything first (instead, used the CWM manager). Not willing to try anymore, titanium backup is enough for me. Read my guide restoring from icshttp://leemn.wordpress.com/2012/04/13/gala...other-ics-roms/ |

QUOTE(ohmlawx @ Apr 19 2012, 08:56 AM) You can use either:1. RECOVERY Mode ( volup+home=power ) and flash your GB rom ( in zip format). I would suggest you flash first abyss kernel - do not reset phone but reboot recovery at advanced , than choose the GB rom you wish to flash OR 2. Use Mobile Odin to flash your GB rom if it is in tar format Your modem will remain unchange either way. Reflash modem separately if you want to change it |
