And now we have users now "praising" SGS II plasticky is better when they have not even see/touch this SGS III. Some times I wonder where they get this feeling ?? Just throwing rubbish comments without any basis Samsung is never well known for its design - for that try Sony Ericsson follow by HTC
well uncle benny, thats what people do, complaint complaint and complaint
No need open V2. With all this type of kopitiam discussion better for Mod to just closed this thread. When the phone release then can open it again. :-P
i rmb when i saw s2 on the net last year, before it hits the store...the design was surely the least desirable...
it was appealing distributable to the powerful dual core, the amoled+ , plasticky light...and how the hell can a 2k plastic phone with a design that anyone with a pen and paper can draft up in less than 10 seconds can sell 20million units is beyond understanding.
at that time. i was only EAGER to go to store to hold the phone itself in my hand cuz i was using a s-amoled samsung wave at that time (now my mom worship that phone . she is a true smartphone beginner), because wave was 3.5" if not wrong, s2 was a huge leap of scr real estate, 4.3" and s-amoled+
when i first held the s2, i wasnt blown away by the design but rather the slimness, the lightness, the screen was a showstealer, especially with the twirling milky way it used as the demo unit homescreen i was blown away, forgot my name n i was instantly smitten like a college puppy love.
all that felt totally dejavu to me...
frankly, im disappointed wit the s3 design, on the internet. still, 4.8" amoled HD is another huge leap from my s-amoled 4.3" ...n im ready again to be wow-ed by samsung once again. brushed metal mayb look bleh on the net but defnitly can impress more than the plasticky s2. i cannot write off the possibility of being falling in love again wit s3 if i did hold it in my hand because it is wat samsung did best....looks average joe on the internet but continuously grab millions of people hearts when they finally tried this s3 themselves in real life...
i suppose thats why the samsung makes so much profit n the galaxy sells...far more unimaginable than most whining noobs here can comprehend.
but forgive me, tis is simply me, my take, because s2 is my 3rd hardwarely reliable samsung phone so i hv good impression of them all along. design wise alone they rarely can win, i dont rly care about design...if i did, i would be owning an iphone already which i never did, partly, it was always expensive to me. i never did own the beautiful htc either though admire the sense UI because if i did, i will always hv to live in somebody else shadow. so, in the end, i always get the samsung. design wise, MAYBE yucky in the net, but in the end, everyone adores my samsung in their face...so it's puzzling to me why these ppl r so self-contradictory...
Honestly, the 1st impression failed, for me but the more I read about its specs, the more I explore its design, visually, the more I look at it, I gotta say, I’m lovin’ it.

Atleast we wait until the phone in our hand and test it ourselves before we give any negative comments. If we dont like it..fine..we dont buy it. If we like it..good..we can buy it.

I can't really brain these bashing without testing S3 hands on. Like before purchasing a car, test drive first ma. Damn childish..

Indeed. The hands-on experience is what I’m waiting for, right now.

Not surprising at all since human’s never-ending demands can never be fulfilled and their desires are insatiable, hence, the reason for their complaints. Leave them be, that’s all I can say.
Im currently still using nokia e72 symbian phone. Thinking of upgrade.
Do u think i should go for galaxy s2, note or s3?
i do online alot(50%), calling(35%), gaming(15%).
Thank in advance.
TQ.
Coming from Symbian, any modern smartphone will blow u away. If u online a lot, then browser is most important. Nothing on this planet is better then mobile safari on the iPhone. Text is razor sharp and speed is phenomenal. Calling it is also crystal clear and app store has the best collection of games. The price of games in the app store is also cheap.
Some may argue android got many free games. Is free in the sense that u don't have to pay initial cost, but the in game advertisement will eat up ur Internet quota.

Actually most of these childish basher comes from HTC and fruity user as Samsung is their nearest rival. It's understandable for them to downlook any Samsung product without any testing first. Had to wait and see later on which product gonna generate more sales at the end of this year.
