if we look from engineering perspective, plastic is not a good material to transfer heat compare to aluminium.
that y iphone never got heat problem.
*
That is not the reason why iphone does not have heat problem, its probably only for aesthetics. If it were the casing would be hot, uncomfortable to be used and to be placed in the pocket because the casing is used as a heatsink. You wouldn't want to play with a "hot" phone, do you? I do not.

Just because something looks good, doesn't mean it IS good.

Well guys, aluminium or plastic, the design and built material of S3 has been finalized. No point arguing or rant about the aluminium vs plastic.

At the end of the day, if you like S3 just buy it, if don't like then buy other phone. The whole thread is circulating regarding the built material and design and bashing instead of S3 discussion.

I can't imagine what will happened when the actual product reach the local retain shop

But seriously, I'm starting to have doubts on Samsung update and services pace. You see, even now Malaysia still hasn't get any ICS update for SII, either g or non-g. I'm wondering whether SIII will get the same treatment for Jellybean or not.  hmm.gif

if u want rapid release update, go to htc..if u want ur phone to be high end, go for s3.

WRONG.

if you want many OFFICIAL support go to htc,you will get maybe 2 major update,

if you want many DEVELOPER support go for samsung, you will get many custom rom without hassle, sometime will surpass 2 3 major update. my S1 can get until ICS, official support will come, but always late. but there is always leak firmware to test,

BOTH is high end

if you feel adventurous go with samsung, many developer of custom roms for sure, more customization, and most hardware feature will be use to the max. leak firmware from all over the world can be flash to your phone, so if oversea get it, you will also get it. no need to wait asia support.

if you more to i dont care about latest update, i want a phone that just can be use. go for htc, you get the satisfaction of great and sleek design of the phone and also the UI of sense

Hi guys,

wanna ask. this nfc feature is it a built in feature in the battery? got experience buying nexus battery with no nfc

so this time i want to get it right

You need to have both sensor/chip in order to make NFC work. In the phone and on the battery.

that why samsung, not too care about the official update, they release unlocked bootloader, they know many developer will help develop, they just release the source code, and the base.

customize your rom, you feel satisfied for sure.

If you really need just official support then there's only one phone. Google Nexus. You'll be the first one who get any new official Android firmware updates. Fast and prompt...

not to blame them 100%, the strategy of keeping secret from samsung really get everyone thinking they will release new super phone like they never do before, they also thought this 3rd time surely samsung can get it to their head about releasing nice design phone.

if you look at htc, their phone isnt change much of the design, but still somehow you could get that feeling of attractiveness to the phone. somehow you dont feel that with the samsung official phone. even the nexus got much more attractiveness.
