QUOTE(tashfinsheikh @ May 4 2012, 05:40 PM) almu is stronger if more is used like in cars Maybe its because cars needs weight which plastic cannot give. Anyway this is so off-topic. The plastic shouldn't look too bad. Just wait till it comes out, you might be suprised.plastic is good for small objects like mobile phones in terms of stronger~ |

QUOTE(rickk @ May 4 2012, 05:27 PM) Err.. means if use steel, aluminium but lousy design, ppl will say WOW! err.. ppl can't just simply claim their product as nano-tech stuff.. nano-tech stuff is "smart" stuff.. means, if they claim their phone made of nano-tech, there must be additional features on it.. such as, the phone with nano-tech enclosure that can clean itself from dirts? but plastic with awesome design, ppl will say YUCKS? (although s3 degisn is kinda... eh hem..) er... mean if samsung claim that they are using nano-tech plastic, ppl will wow?! as u said cheap or expensive doesn't matter, for me, plastic or alu also doesn't matter. haha! my own opinion la. for instance, the Tupperware, said were made of starch material (not chemical plastic) converted into "plastic", it serves at non-toxic, degradable and anti-bacterial.. u see what i mean? |

But seriously, I'm starting to have doubts on Samsung update and services pace. You see, even now Malaysia still hasn't get any ICS update for SII, either g or non-g. I'm wondering whether SIII will get the same treatment for Jellybean or not.

if we look from engineering perspective, plastic is not a good material to transfer heat compare to aluminium.

QUOTE(MrUbikeledek @ May 4 2012, 03:18 PM) A quwstion. Now many phone feature NFC. What will it use for beside transfer files? can i use it as a electronic wallet? Electronic wallet is one of the major use case for NFC (although I don't see it will come to our shore very soon).Other usage of NFC are to automate some tasks on your phone, as an enabler for marketing (facebook like, foursquare checkin, twitter follow etc.), enabler for wifi/bluetooth coonectivity, ticketing, access control and many many more. |
