A good multivit and fish oil should be sorted out before moving onto other supps. Since you've got your meals covered and already have a creatine supp, you're pretty much set, IMO. Just add on the multi and fish oil if you haven't already got them.
i notice some people taking 2 scoops of whey protein after workout. I don't have a problem with that. But i got one question in mind, that is, can our body absorb all the 2 scoops of whey protein which hovers around 40~50g at one go???

guys, which creatine good nowday?..brand and price..thanks
hey guys since the price for ON whey gold protein somehow in the range of Isolated whey protein like ISO 100 Whey by Dynamitize should i just get the isolated protein? goal is to unlocked lean body figure. and also i will stack with BCAA scivation xtend and opti-men that all.
Being lean boils down to calories in vs calories out. Understand that concept before jumping straight to supplements.
ok here is the question. the article says amphetamine will show in urine just like meth did.
what if i got urine tested? it will be troublesome right? have to wait for hospital lab result ect.
any thoughts ?
Added on August 26, 2012, 7:51 pm i did google and ends up in a thread in bb.com
i cant find any that shows it got amphetamine. any links bro?
Well, whether it's troublesome or not would depend on whether the regulating body of the contest you enter (I assume it's a contest since you mention testing) has it listed as a banned substance.
Ok got it guys. So if I have ON gold, nitrotech hardcore & dymatize elite whey, which one should I take? All 3 gives around 24-25g in similar serving sizes.
The cheaper one or the one that tastes better to you.
are all the pure creatine monohydrate having the same properties regardless of brands? i have muscletech creatine mono, its so hard to dilute well into water but better wit warmer water, does the temp affects efficiency?
More or less the same, unless the product contains fillers/other ingredients, in which case you can't really know for sure how much creatine you're getting per serving.
Mass gainers have their place if you know what you're doing. Personally, I've made gains using them because of the extra calories on top of my regular diet (which at the time wasn't enough).
creatine helps drag water along with nutrients to your muscle cells, making the absorption of protein more efficient. some ppl may also experience gain in strength while some don't..
yes, you can.
Creatine aids in the production of ATP to provide your muscles with more energy, it's got nothing to do with nutrient uptake. The potential water retention that some people may experience is more of a harmless side effect.
Have have one more question, what the best time to take whey protein shake? For post work need to wait 30minute and drink protein or just drink immediately after workout?
1. about 8-9 month.(stop 1 month during puasa) 2. so far got no problem with diet, i hit 2500 to 3000 calories per day+200g protein. 3. 4-5 day a week..
still gaining..for 8 month my weight increase about 17kgs, a bit slow but ok for me, i wont rush.
lately, to many work load balik kerja lewat. hit gym, after half and hour, seem no more energy. took 3-5min rest, after next set...
Added on January 2, 2013, 5:37 pm thx bro -Dan ..some i dont understand coz my english not so well..
Lol, in a nutshell, they don't work. If you want a supplement, you could go with a pre-WO since you have your diet in check and you mentioned not having much energy.
Just try my first tub of Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Chocolate, it taste good. I bought from Celebrity Fitness Midvalley, they keep asking me is it you the one that take, how old are you etc. I told them 17 this year they recommend me don't take anything for now sign up their membership dulu. Very rare see people don't want sell their stuff ._. I insist they go say should choose mass gainer, i told them i can hit my calories requirement but not protein everyday. They still advice take mass gainer eessh. I raise my voice liao give firm speech they baru let me buy. So twat ._.
Would like to get some whey protein recommendation here.
I'm a girl who started working out since last year. Started off with the Syntha-6 which was recommended by GNC staff. She says it's suitable for girls. Later on I realize it has high calories it in.
Currently looking for some recommendation which will help reach my objective. Objective: 1. Lose weight by lowering body fat percentage and gain some healthy muscle mass. 2. Tone up my muscles without bulking up.
Been considering MyoFusion Probiotic from Gaspari or Nitro Tech from MuscleTech or Elite Whey Protein from Dymatize.
Which is better or any other suggestion?
Protein is protein. What matters more is your diet as a whole.
me & my brother bump into our Mr. Universe, Mr. Sazali Samad last few weeks at carefour wangsamaju.. somehow we managed to have a short chat with him. very friendly and humble man as compared to his reputation in bodybuilding . BTW, he still encouraged us to take mass gainer and he admit he still take mass gainer, i'm a bit suprise! so to F*&*&k mass gainer is a bit to harsh..hehe
He's a professional bodybuilder. With his level of muscle mass, he'd likely have a massive metabolism and would require a great deal of calories to just maintain weight. In his case, with him knowing how his own body works, sure he could use mass gainers. For the average trainee, all you really need to to is eat, and understand basic nutrition. I have used mass gainers. Have they worked? Yes. Why? Because I was hitting whatever calories I needed at the time to grow. I could have grown exactly the same if I had eaten more.
Supplements are all fine and dandy but they should not come before the foundation has been set up. So many people jump straight into a supplement store when they don't even know what macros they should be hitting daily, let alone what a macronutrient even is.
I'm starting my cutting phase now. Question is, how much protein should I get / day?
I know the calculation of xgram of protein / pound of body weight but in this case I don't even have that much muscle mass and most of my weight are fat.
1g/lb of bodyweight is a good number for both bulking & cutting.
focusing more on core right now, im dont worry for legs as im a runner/bballer. Basically what i mean was i just want a fit and ripped body, not those bodybuilder kind.
Training your body as a whole will improve your performance in your sports.
