Haha perhaps they are keeping the money in the meantime.
Because even insider news will not help much when it comes to uncertainty involving elections.

thanks sifu  notworthy.gif  i do understand the ex and payment date..but get confused when look at entitlement date  rclxub.gif
*
Ur shares take 3 days to be delivered mah~~~~
If u buy a day before Ex.. with C(Cum) entitlement, then the shares will be delivered to you on T+3, am i right ?
Then, the Entitlement Date is always T+3 from Ex Date with Ex-Date being T+1....

so, it's all about making sure the share is delivered to ur CDS/Nominee before or on the Entitlement Date itself...

u get it now ??
so Ex date is just "created" to help investors.. the official one should be Entitlement Date...

hope u understand what i'm trying to say... sry, engrish no good LOLOL...

Disclaimer : If i'm right, Credit goes to sifu Cherroy coz he explained it last time.. otherwise, it's my fault for not understanding correctly what sifu Cherroy explained... biggrin.gif

Another question: 6.5% dividend means how much? how to calculate it?
*
Each time, when dividend did not say any amount, just put percentage, then you refer to the PAR value of a share.

In Karyon case, it is RM 0.10 per share as PAR value.

6.5%, meaning RM 0.10 x 0.065 = RM 0.0065

Not even 1 cent for your information. But it is still good, because they are still giving back to shareholder.. biggrin.gif
