In short,
  Which do you prefer?

case 1: Won FA Cup, but fail to qualify 2 UCL
case 2: not wining anything for 7 years, but qualify for UCL every year.

i like none! 7 years is too long.
if case 1 is BPL crown... i would take it. but not FA or League cup.
*
How can you win BPL crown but not qualify for Champions League? XD That is impossible!!

If it's for one season, I would take any trophy over a Champions League spot because it's all about winning.

Qualifying for Champions League is not an achievement but I don't want to win the FA Cup/League Cup but screw up the league every season.

If Liverpool can win anything the enter, go for them all but if they are out of the race for 4th place ... there is no point talking about finishing in top 4 so I will take any cup everytime.

People will remember who wins the cups, no who qualifies for Champions League..

Every fan starts the season hoping their teams wins all. As the season goes, every fan hopes their team wins whatever left that is possible. What is left for club A to achieve is different from what is left for club B to achieve. To compare that is just to get some sort of consolation, to me.

Imagine 3 person goes fishing the whole day. Lets say, at the end of the day I have a fair sized bass, you caught 2 mid sized boxfish and the other guy over there caught a giant trout and people start taking pictures of it. Away from the crowd, I won't be comparing my bass with your boxfish, I'll say 'good game and lets do better the next day'

Well,

http://arsenal-mania.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=155642

Scroll down the posts and you'll see some twitter responses claiming that the person that Robin dined with is someone else, and in fact an Arsenal supporter.

Whatever.

Despite how Jenkinson looks I believe he is a better all round defender than Eboue is. He has improved leaps and bounds since he first joined (still remember when he was in Malaysia, atrocious) and this despite the fact he has been out injured for quite awhile.

On hindsight it would've been great to have Eboue in the squad when we had all our fullbacks out but no one would've or could've expected that and realistically he will never have gotten a game unless that most unlikely scenario happens again.

Eboue horror penalty against Pool got him sold. Besides Santos, AW seemed don't like to invest much in fullbacks. All bought for little money or groomed and then sold off.

arshavin def to be back zenit...to be sold
gervinho...inconsistent..

miyachi...same fate with vela

santos or gibbs..still not world class like sagna...so i think a world class WB to be bought..

if mvilla not coming...vertongen..can play there..

I still prefer RW to be Hulk..over Gervinho.. sweat.gif  Ox to be cover

theo & Rvp upfront...

Hazard or Gotze or Podolski at LW?  sweat.gif

Why Hulk? superstar like CR or Messi...
Dream transfer....Hulk, Gotze .. notworthy.gif

arshavin not confirm going yet but if he really wants to go we got Gervinho and Ox to cover for him.

and Gervinho for some reasons is my favorite player of the season besides Van Persie and Song because of his work rate, I just love him to moment I saw he played against Newcastle. He can definitely be something great in the next season.

miyaichi is performing super good in Bolton and definitely is going to be one of the star in the future if nto next season, I will give him 3 seasons to blend into the premier league.

Hulk will be £40mill to £60mill so forget about it. RW will still be Walcott and Ox to compete with him in first team.

Hazard will be at least £35m so forget about it. Gotze be at least £25m can also forget about it. but if he really comes I will welcome him.

LW will be Gervinho as first team and Miyaichi as back up. or Gotze if he really comes.

RVP up front to play alongside Podolski who will replace RVP in 2-3 seasons later. and Joe Campbell as the back up unless all injured. sweat.gif

Santos and Gibbs is not world class because we are not world class team like Real Madrid and Barca so already world class player dont wanna join us. But santos and Gibbs will be world class in the near future maybe next season or next 2... but they are definitely good enough to play in EPL and as good as the left back in MU that spark racial issues with Suarez forget his name already.

Btw, i will welcome Vertonghen to join our force to form one of the strongest back 5 in the EPL like the late 1980s when we got Winterburn Dixon adams bould seaman... we got koscielny vertoghen vermaelen sagna szczesny santos.

And if van persie really wants to leave, as much as I hope he stays. But if he really wants to leave I hope he goes to another league successful clubs like Real Madrid or Barcelona. Then we will have to get Podolski but if we don't. Can get some other strikers maybe. We still got Walcott and Campbell but both are not quite up to the standard as arsenal striker yet.

2 full backs for each side is enough to me. Don't need too many to sit on bench (or not even sitting on the bench) we got Sagna and Jenkinson on the right, Santos and Gibbs on the left. One more for each means Jenkinson and Gibbs got no chance to improve at all or waste money to buy extras to put on bench. So more forwards should be better as forwards get injured easier.
