Being an away game and all I have a feeling Ramsey will be slotted into the left again...As far as these things go Arsene is known to be a stubborn SOB...I hope I'm wrong....

we are doomed  sad.gif

ramsey is in the starting eleven

Doomed? what if we win with Ramsey in the team? Give the lad a break. Moreover he is in the centre today not on the left...

Hate the way we take the foot off the pedal each time we have the "upper hand".

Meanwhile, Wigan 1 - 0 Manchester Uni....oh wai....why am I not surprised?

Easy win. Move on. Next game.

The bottom clubs have shown they are no pushovers. Wolves looked decent in patches, QPR have thrown an egg to our faces last 2 weeks and Wigan next Tuesday will be no different. Another 3 points against Wigan would give us some breathing space for the Chelsea game. COYG!

That looks like a horrendously poor piece of photoshop.

Btw its been pretty much confirmed from a reliable source (from which forum I can't remember but they were the ones that first leaked our 125th anni shirt picture last year) that the collar and sleeves will be navy blue not black as in the picture. I did save the picture to my PC and posted it here before. In case you missed it here it is again:

haha ask the designers over at Nike. But IMO dark blue on the sleeves and collar looks better than with black.

Liverpool is undergoing some major spring cleaning. I think its a good move by the owner to flush out underperforming staff, not just blaming on the manager and the players. Unlike a certain Russian billionaire, identifying in depth what the cause of the rot and circumvent the problem as a short term goal and then lay out a long term plan for the coming season, is the way to go.

Simply firing your manager on a yearly basis and horde the market with worthless purchases while keeping your old lions isn't exactly radiating brilliance as an owner.

Liverpool may be a wreck, but its not total loss for them. I genuinely believe they will rebound next season stronger and with a resounding plan for their current manager and the team.

You guys think any Liverpool player worth buying next season?icon_idea.gif

sometimes I wish Eboue is still with us during that period!
*
Despite how Jenkinson looks I believe he is a better all round defender than Eboue is. He has improved leaps and bounds since he first joined (still remember when he was in Malaysia, atrocious) and this despite the fact he has been out injured for quite awhile.

On hindsight it would've been great to have Eboue in the squad when we had all our fullbacks out but no one would've or could've expected that and realistically he will never have gotten a game unless that most unlikely scenario happens again.

I can feel St Totteringham's Day edging closer and closer laugh.gif

QPR might give them some problems this weekend IMO.

Btw Mata looked very impressive in this game. He is one we should look out for when they visit the Emirates.

Scottie Parker nominated for PFA POTY award but not even a sniff for Song. What a joke.

1st goal - djourou's fault...
2nd goal - dunno...
*
How on earth is the first goal Djourou's fault? Please stop blaming players just because you don't like them. Why not blame both goals on Diaby instead. It was a royally sh*t corner from Robin and IMO all the lazy b*stards who didn't bother to make the run back to defend are at fault, not just Djourou's.

+1

a draw would be a fair result for us (in the current squad and chelsea good run)..
a win would be awesome...
*
Are we inferior to Chelsea? Why is everyone speaking as though we have already lost the game or the best we could hope for is a draw? I don't know but Chelsea's recent results more than flatters their overall performances. They haven't been all that impressive IMO.

To be honest they were battered by Barca. Pretty much like how we were battered at the Emirates last time out but we somehow came out on top at the end 2-1. They needed an offside goal to beat Wigan and they have relatively been putting in pretty average performances but still somehow manage to scrape through.

I feel there is no clear favorite in this one. It will be a pretty even contest and it will come down to whoever can take their chances better. We have been pretty poor in front of goal of late and that is a concern.

this home shirt certainly looking nice though..compared to the rumored shirt with black/dark blue ring on the sleeves(not to mention the black socks) doh.gif

It won't be black socks. Nike has the tendency of matching socks colour with the sleeves so if its there is a dark blue ring on the sleeves then most likely the socks will be dark blue as well.

Scezsney

Ox will still be our super sub as much as i want him to start

I'm actually tempted to put Diaby in instead of Ramsey. Brings more physicality and balance into the midfield. I just can't help but feel that Ramsey will most likely be bullied off the park by the likes of Ramires, Mikel and Essien.

I don't see how is this mind games if Drogba is really injured. So means Arsene is playing mind games as well by declaring Arteta is out for the season? =.=
