Try download Root Checker app from market to check whether you got proper root or not.
Or download any apps that need root exp. Titanium Backup. This type of app will ask for root permission to operate.

or download Root Explorer and try to delete or move some system files.
If it's possible, then you're fully rooted.

New users not advisable to tamper with system files unless he is aware what he is doing. If want to try experiment with say not important files like audio ringtone files
I would say if you can get titanium backup to work is good enough test

Hello friend,

is not a shortcut flashing, please read the instruction properly...there is an option for that if not the developer will not spell out..okay..

I'm not lazy to do a wipe data and in fact I did as per the instruction, if later I do really encounter problems with my phone...you no need to worry about it as I'm mentally and physically prepare for it...I call this a learning process and I will continue with it as well....

Thank you...

The rom developer will always want you to do a clean install. Different users start with a different rom and it is very difficult for troubleshooting if everyone does a dirty install.
I also tested dirty install just for the experience but in all cases I go back to clean install - less frustration and any bugs can be reported back properly to developer.
