But then my battery reduces from 81% to 40+% when I am sleeping for like 8 hours. Is this a problem? I turned off wifi and enable silent mode. And no application was running that time

This is a problem.By right the phone should be in deep sleep. The battery consumption should not be that much.

do u use data connection?

check again what application that is kinda suspicious and uninstall that apps if u could, my note last night for 8 hours with wifi only consumed 20% like that, 40% seems like theres data connection going on...

maybe for ur last resort, try flashing a different rom

updates on my problem, solved, i dunno why but currently running on stock odexed rom posted by dr.ketan and its quite stable... laugh.gif

I assume you're with the current Stock ROM. Check if there is an update available.

Updating to the latest LC2 ROM should be improve battery life.
Try it for a couple more days then report the condition.

Definitely rogue app running in background
even with 3g on n active email n fb refreshing overnite my most is 10%. Now averaging 3-5% over 7-8 hours
Check your apps n disable active refresh if you do not need it
Since you are new I will not ask you even to root it n use other methods to manage it better

When I was using Digi, it drops between 7-10% but start using Maxis this month, and with H+, it seem to drain even more than that. Sometimes upto 15%.

Yes it should contain the Samsung warranty card and the seal on the box should be blue with samsung written all over it.. If you open the back the battery has the samsung sticker as well.

AP's are also original sets, but because they are brought over from another country thats why the AP's dont have the samsung warranty. That's the only difference.. Other than that the phone functions the same.. Well maybe you will get softwares updates a little later than SME sets smile.gif

My hubby has the SME set and i have the AP set. I would be glad to help you check the stickers tomorrow.. im a little drowsy now LOL.. bedtime!  yawn.gif And not to mention opening my casing would be a great hassle in the dark  doh.gif
