How's Thoravukk compared to Siyah then? Don't have AOSP ROM to try it on. :/

Feels the same, smooth. Batt is quite good and comparable to RC6. Then i found out his gpu steps set to only 133 and 200. Third step 267 is never used. But overall it is recommended to try. No extweaks though so have to use alternative apps/scripts to do settings.

We've been discussing last time that Siyah's tweaks doesn't seem to affect Nenamark. Changing any GPU steps still results in same nenamark. Dono if still like that or not on RC6.

On another note, RC6 has pretty damn good battery, at least standby wise laugh.gif

Hmm if no significant advantage to Siyah, guess I'll stick to Siyah first

Oh, forgot to update you. It was fixed in the latest RC6. The settings now affect Nenamark without issues. 160 vs 267 really produces different results in a lot of runs. And all those runs are consistent with 160MHz vs 267MHz.

Anyone that has rust over the samsung logo? Kind of dissapointed with the quality of the paint considering i ALWAYS place my phone on top of a cloth as i use my phone naked and i dont want my camera lens getting scratched.

And no, i have never dropped my phone in water, a few times i touched the screen with my wet hands, so a few drops of water goes onto my screen, but i have a SP, so i just rub it off. Thats the most the device has gotten into contact with water.

Just realized this today when lookig at the back of the phone sad.gif

Are you sure it's rust? I don't think it is made of metal. I just check mine and it's greenish, after wipe, good as new. Shinning..

guys,

I wanna format my internal sdcard right. But i dont have an external sd card, so I cant keep my new ROM which i wanna flash in the internal sd. So I was thinking, if i am on siyah, if i format internal sd card, then i copy my ROM to the phone thru usb cable on CWM, is this possible? because I remember in siyahkernel change log got say something about this, just want to make sure.TQ notworthy.gif

the zip file will not be deleted if u perform a factory reset. so u still can put the file at /sd card.

Yes you should be able to mount in cwm. But if you want a safer way, just format sdcard, reboot back copy the file then only go back to recovery to flash your rom.

we can actually boot into the OS even after formatting sdcard? I have always thought that if we do that it just wont boot, or might have constant freezes or something since all the app data is missing LOL sweat.gif

If its possible I guess I would rather do that. But will first try mounting, sounds pretty cool since the OS is not even booted up, yet the phone can be detected biggrin.gif

Off to flash siyah since Im using abyss(great kernel by the way rclxms.gif ,got AOSP version also)
