Hi All,

A quick 1 ya... I using the Samsung Headset (the 1 that comes along with my brand new S2) with my HP laptop...its functional but would it damage my either Samsung headset o the laptop..

Hey guys, my s2 (not the G variant) suddenly cannot turn on wifi. Before this was working perfectly. When u turn on wifi, it will show error. Am using stock gingerbread. So far I've tried taking out the bettery but still the same. Any of you had the same problem?

did u try fix permission?
APN you can manually set it back to your phone
if use maxis can go to their website request to sent the setting to your phone

what did you done before this?
any app newly install?
any piated app?
if stilll can't resolve considered factory reset

sorry but im not asking for the best rom since i hang around here long enough to know that it based on your on preferences. Just wanna know any tips for newcomers to try which rom first.gotta start from somewhere rite

you can try on checkrom is known to be most stable and closest to stock
else can try turkbey rom too

this are GB
if ICS there is still some improvement to done before it can became stable release

Yea, was hoping for stable ICS rom,so i guess there's no stable ICS custom rom yet.might as well stay with gb first then.and thanks for the tips.will try to look into them first.

u can try F1 GalaxyNexus is u want the looks of galaxy nexus' stock ICS. rclxms.gif wait for the update. it's still at its 1st release. smile.gif

I have a feeling that the G version will get ICS before the normal one lol. Today 7 countries got updated with i9100.

i never had good experience with Siyah. I went around with Speedmod, Redpill when using GB, it's all good except siyah. when i came to ICS, i used cf-root. then when i started using siyah.. it's simply the same like GB. it's suck up my battery like a boss. laugh.gif I moved to Thoravuk, even thoravuk can give good battery life for me.

Maybe my S2 and Siyah are not meant to be together. laugh.gif
