u already rooted ur phone. U can try flash custom ROM.
there are many ICS custom ROM to choose.

Seems like most of the Custom ICS ROM has bugs. Any recommendation of the best possible ICS ROM?

If u want a really.pure ice experience, get either hydrog3n or cm9

Check out thebyani's ICS. Runs perfectly with 0 bugs.

going back to checkrom, main reason for me it's the external sd card mount...coz most of the time i need to use my external cd with my pc, without it....it's really cacat..

beside the sd card mount issue, other stuff stuff is good for me...didnt encounter force close for games and apps.

no comment on the battery as i tried on games n apps, so no doubt battery gone fast...

ICS still new, lotsa things to improve..
So be brave and take the journey to experience it..

Ofcoz GB is stable.. but being too comfortable also not good.. progress, bro.. hehehe head towards it.. maybe something will come up to fix the ext_sd thingy..

it's not the matter of brave or not brave......i want to go on with the ics...but i almost everyday i do up my job from home n need to transfer the files from my pc to phone, then bring it to other place to use it..

are we able to use the 2A side to charge sgs2?
can it's charger of 5.3V be used to charge sgs2 also?

i read somewhere else that 2A or 5.3V should be no problem charging our device but it seems that when i tried using the 2A side to charge last nite..it gave me a warning saying "charging paused, voltage too high"...the 1A side was charging another fon htc sensation with no problem...then i switch the sgs2 to the 1A side to charge..then it charged fine...

i also read somewhere saying might be rom/kernel problem..im on criskeloservanteam v5 btw...no time to update to v7 yet..might do it tonite then try again..but im just afraid will spoil the fon...hope someone can enlighten me here..thanks..

AWWWW YEAHHHHH BLN on RC3, always wanted that.

i dont think s2 will ever have 100% pure ICS experience.
dont get mad first, hear me out, let me elaborate.

ICS meant for full touch screen without hardware buttons,
the on screen buttons are back, home & recent apps.

i running CM9 on my tablet, i really get the full feel of ics,
because if you want to close the current app, you can do this swift combination.
tap home, tap recent app, swipe away the one at the bottom.

very fast and smooth gesture, tap+tap+swipe, to close an app. (can be done in 1 second)

so far the official ICS and custom ICS, all use the long press home button to bring up recent app.
no longer can do the "tap tap swipe" combo to close app.

the recent app is a really useful button, but to activate it by long pressing home button,
it really cripple the whole ics experience.

Bugs..!??
Use official ICS stock rom. No bugs..everything is working without any problems. Every pre-install apps can be used without FC or freeze.
