Ok if I want to add a sub. Is it just plug and play? Budget.. Maybe 300-400?
*
For your budget, you can get underseat active subwoofer and you'll be able to get what you want, bass.

Well, it is not plug and play.

By the time you can buy a new Honda Civic, I'm guessing they will definitely have a new version already.

Saw alot of people use Dynamat

Hmmm, previously i got my car side door speaker and rear speaker when it is too loud the whole dashboard vibrate can a sound proof prevent that?
*
You'll need to have a budget in mind when come to soundproofing.

Deal with your source of noise instead of follow whatever people say.

It seems that your car doors rattle when music go loud, so you may consider door dampening.

There are different way of dealing with door soundproofing, basically all you need to do it to dampen and then do sound insulation. (Of course, depend on your budget too~)

I would suggest you to do the front door soundproof first. At least you can feel the effect immediately.

There are so many brands out there for you to choose from. Budget counts and definitely applying it the correct way counts too.

If you are hesitant on DIY, then get some skilled installer to do it.

Do take note as well that, some unheard of brand out there are basically just a waste of money. Seen it, tested it and already throw away.

hi, currently looking forward to replace the old 6x9 speaker (Prokick) brand because it creates hissing sound and bass cracking when playing music.. so looking back on other brands with 6x9 speaker since its easier for me to plug and play the speaker when change it. Dont really into heavy setup but at times i prefer a better music quality along with bassy music with deep bass.. Any recommendation? I saw rockfosgate prime 6x9 speaker at RM500++ and another nakamichi 6x9 speaker around RM430++ at Eneos 1 utama car center.  unsure.gif

was wonder which is the better pick? prefer speaker that produces better bass quality mostly dance, house, rock music..  smile.gif

any other brand recommendation are welcome... biggrin.gif

boss.. really sorry for newbie question again. What price range does a 'good' component set comes under? Would like to know to see if i can better manage my budget or not. Thanks smile.gif
*
If you ask me, 1k~2k range should be ok.

After the component, then see what to match for the whole system.

600 - <1k Entry Level...

1k < 2k "Good" Level. laugh.gif

2k < 3.5k "You were bitten" level.

3.5k < 8k "Your wound is swelling" level.

8k< XXX You are so sick, that sleeping inside your car is the only cure... level. laugh.gif

ezmeer94, please buy a bigger car. Small car not nice to sleep.

...now where is quaza's level. hmm.gif
