About the ARB, 19 eh. UR got 18, might try that, but I heard there's problems with the brake cables shearing with UR ARBs? Any alternatives?

Personal Mod Targets:

Current: K&N drop in, Osram NBP, Vinyl Eyelids for lights, Mitsu boot tray (where to get?), Meguiar's UQW + ONR.

Near Future: 17 rims + Tyres.

Far Future: Titans, Rear ARB/Strut, Everco 4-2-1 + decat + bullet + muffs, R3 rear  ducklip.

Yep. That looks about right.

Bro, I have changed mine, rear ARB, to 23mm. Now my passengers no more complaining of seasick. biggrin.gif

My experience on 23mm: can take sharp corners with more confidence (less understeer) but on undulating roads, as our springs are still soft, still can feel the sampan effects.

Then again, I am still on stock wheels. Suspect the high profile tires, which I think 50-series should fare better.

Just my two cents.

Morning all smile.gif Time to start work at lyn...

Whats this ARB bar, etc... do u all know what it does or not? Dun simply put coz ppl say good. Ur driving style and others may be diff. Proton has made this car a very driveable car with soft grippy rear and front understeer characteristics that are easy to correct during fast corners.

nod.gif nod.gif korek korek, if you change to bigger ARB at back, ride is more harsh and most probably will understeer, cuz it's better for thicker ARB for FR cars......FF not so much...

Understeer is easier to correct during corners... just lift throttle a bit... Oversteer ur tail will start losing n off to a spin.. FWD can't really drift one... UR rear arb abt RM4xx.

Think the ride is more of less the same, not harsher.. just that cornering less rear bodyroll, so ppl will tend to corner faster and with stiffer rear, it will be tail happy again like fake inspiras.. that will indirectly lead to oversteer (coz rear drifting... )... a situation common drivers will not know how to correct... nor hv space at normal road corners to correct for more experienced drivers.

Based on the number of spin outs during gokarting and the number of ppl waving hands..... best stick with stock setup.
