since u high mileage, and worry tyre cost, then keep the money for better 16inches tyre lo.

if its because you like 18inches rim then go for it

but, 18 inches tyre not cheap.

Just so that we're on the same page here. I want to add Rear Struts without touching the Rear ARB. Hopefully this will give me a tighter ass w/o sacrificing Proton's handling mods too much.

Bro, I have changed mine, rear ARB, to 23mm. Now my passengers no more complaining of seasick.

My experience on 23mm: can take sharp corners with more confidence (less understeer) but on undulating roads, as our springs are still soft, still can feel the sampan effects.

Then again, I am still on stock wheels. Suspect the high profile tires, which I think 50-series should fare better.

Added on April 3, 2012, 12:19 amori rim with 225/45 18 wont easy to dent it. mine case bent twice ady, replica maaa with 225/40 18.

I guess Adrian one face same problem. 225/40 18 hard to take care.
