Server in Europe but currency in USD? I smell April Fool's joke. rolleyes.gif

If you log in to the game at odd hours (3-5am), you can sometimes end up in the Europe chat rooms. Happens to me quite often.
Anyways, it's probably for alt hero models. Limiting the hero pool is the suicide weapon that will kill off HoN, I doubt Valve would want to shoot themselves in the foot by following the same strategy.

i thought heroes of newerth and league of legends got heroes / champions rotation?

i.e. new "free" heroes / champions in the rotation pool every week like that.

for league of legends them champions rotates also. not sure if one week or more though.

and the number of champions on the rotation pool is quite ok also i think. maybe 1/3 of the total one hundred ish champions?

well, i think these steps are to make players value their "free" accounts more so they would be less like to quit games while in the middle of a match.

I really dont think Steam would pick beta key receivers by looking at their PC spec. Why bother? If you cant play, upgrade your PC and that would save them alot of hassle by looking into every single receiver's PC specs.
Common sense.

@Agito666: If you are already playing Dota 2 then why state no invitation received by you? You are contradicting your statements and confusing people.

Valve has assured fans that the minimum requirements to run the game would be relatively low. A chunk of the income from the game will be via cybercafes, thus they have to make sure that operators can provide the game without having to massively overhaul their existing hardware. They also promised that the game would have a more welcoming community, yet still maintain a competitive edge. This is why they're handing out invitations to broad range of users, from newbies to pros, low specced to high specced. It's all about data collection. One thing you have to understand is that this is how IceFrog operates - community feedback. DotA would not be as widespread as it is today if it was not for this development model.

Hero buying totally kills the game. Valve always stick to a theory where you don't need to pay money to get advantage in game or stuff which affects gameplay or overpowered. Everyone have the same chance on winning and you could unlock stuff via drop or something but those are well balanced stuff/cosmetic stuff etc.

Played with a CM who was highly likely to be on crack/ice/weed. Throughout the game he was laughing like a madman into the mic..AND he was owning.
