Just ended a game against a bunch of arrogant Pinoys. They picked on us from the start, poking fun at Malaysians for no reason. My first experience of abusive players since I started playing D2.

It's worth mentioning than -CM games are for those who have good knowledge of roles and laning. Even some senior players (2+ years exp) have difficulty in grasping the dos and don'ts of draft games.

If you log in to the game at odd hours (3-5am), you can sometimes end up in the Europe chat rooms. Happens to me quite often.
Anyways, it's probably for alt hero models. Limiting the hero pool is the suicide weapon that will kill off HoN, I doubt Valve would want to shoot themselves in the foot by following the same strategy.

Valve has assured fans that the minimum requirements to run the game would be relatively low. A chunk of the income from the game will be via cybercafes, thus they have to make sure that operators can provide the game without having to massively overhaul their existing hardware. They also promised that the game would have a more welcoming community, yet still maintain a competitive edge. This is why they're handing out invitations to broad range of users, from newbies to pros, low specced to high specced. It's all about data collection. One thing you have to understand is that this is how IceFrog operates - community feedback. DotA would not be as widespread as it is today if it was not for this development model.

It's not difficult to write up your own script. Just look up the console commands for d2 online.

FYI, don't do this is high ELO games. The opposition plays extra serious when they see paired names. Happened to me quite a few times since the latest matchmaking update.
