yah, but in long term u use more $$$ at ori filter.. aftermarket only pay once and the filter cleaning kit can wash about 10-15 times if not mistaken...
ori filter is good in filteration, but i prefer aftermarket as it will be bit worst filtration thn ori but air flow is much better~!
correct me if i'm wrong~!
but heard Apexi is the best among all in filtration... (compare to all aftermarket air filter)
Yup, no doubt abt those high cost air filters providing better air flow & the ECU will compensate to maintain the AF ratio, resulting in more fuel being injected & mixed. Outcome? Slightly better performance.

For every plus, there's alwaz a minus. FC wld b affected...
Also with better air flow, more dirt particles wld pass thru and .....

As for expenses, AFAIK Ori is abt RM17 each & replaced every 20k Km?
So 4lifetime of car (theory has it at 250k Km?), need 2replace Ori 12X ie 12 x RM17= RM204.
And each time, a NEW clean filter is used.
So assuming eg K&N is abt RM250(?) and (supposedly lasts also car lifetime) plus cleaning kit costs (not 4getting time & energy in cleaning process), the total figure is more than for Ori.
Of course cheaper ones wld b same costs or even less. However, wat abt the quality of those cheaper ones?
All in all, only benefit is the deeper intake sound + slight performance gain.
So whoever does so shld b happy with that benefit & not worry abt the losses...

ps. Bro...Juz for discussipn sake. No offence intended. TQ.
