the production for D3s has been discontinued
so if you want a new one, better buy one before it's sold out in the market

QUOTE(hidden830726 @ Apr 19 2012, 08:37 PM) Im an ultra newbie so im still keen on getting a D800, I own the 16-35 too28 1.8g seems promising, But probably gonna skip since i owned 16-35 f4 Question for u guys who thinking of getting D800, wait or grab? previously wanna get the 24 1.4g with the D800 but will get the 28 1.8g instead now the primes are better for street shooting thus far have yet to hear any AF issue from the D800E most probably it has been solved by Nikon, hopefully it is no coincidence that there are no shipments of D800 for the past 2.5 weeks, I'm thinking they are sorting out the AF issue before the next shipment even u got the cash there aren't many D800 around now, so you can only wait |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Apr 19 2012, 09:45 PM) Hahaha! And the 'ISO' rating is better than the 5D3. Must be the way it is measured giving D800 the edge. the way they measure, it's scale down to 8MP, for all the camerasAdded on April 19, 2012, 9:50 pmwhat a way from Nikon to shut the mouth of those who whine, rant and complain that Nikon is stupid, dumb, idiot, clueless to released a 36MP well, best sensor ever!!!! hahahahaha This post has been edited by hkenh: Apr 19 2012, 09:50 PM |

well, if u scale the 22mp 5d mk3 up to 36mp also still dapao!
the fairest way to compare is to downscale it to 8mp |

QUOTE(celciuz @ Apr 19 2012, 10:05 PM) it would most probably look the same up to iso3200 at 22mpfunny thing is canonrumors ppl are all in denial mode hahahah and to have someone as the admin of the site saying the results are fake canon ppl should come up with another website for camera testing and include factors like camera availability, that way they could trump Nikon like no tomorrow! |

would be a surprise move by Nikon. And I hope with the increase of FX shooters those expensive FX lens prices will start to come down. =)

QUOTE(ojtee @ Apr 29 2012, 10:04 AM) The D300/D300s has 100% viewfinder, 0.94 magnification, i use a moded DK-17M to make the magnification close to 100%....... using magnifier won't make your viewfinder 100% if it wasn't 100% at the first place there are ways to to make your D700 viewfinder to almost 100%........just google it I have DK-17M on my D700 too, it just enlarges the viewfinder's image, that's all. |
