Need to wait and wait lor.. if in Msia I terus cut q if I know them Sorry, I just joking around. I actually mean if I don't use the photo for commercial will just shot jpeg. Because storage wise. ![]() The 33rd Bangkok International Motor Show 2012 by CY Pixels, on Flickr Speaking of bursting with RAW, I did a few times already at Super GT... mainly because I was shooting RAW for the RQ and JPEG for the panning shots, but most of the time I didn't notice I was on RAW for the cars until I noticed how come so little shots left LOL. It didn't slow down or rather buffer still holding up for my D700 at 8fps. |

QUOTE(Calvin Seak @ Apr 5 2012, 12:11 AM) Your pictures and the 35mm looks awesome!! Somehow I feel like getting the 35mm instead of the 24 now It is all about preference... in terms of image quality both are excellent lens. Just see if you prefer 35mm or 24mm ;-) I have shots taken with 85mm too |

QUOTE(jchue73 @ Apr 5 2012, 02:59 AM) Unfortunately, I have to agree with you on that. Despite with the language barrier, they are still very friendly and accomodating... That much differences compared to D700's NEF? Haven't tried opening one yet... Oh dear, more money to be spent? If I'm not wrong, I saw the same guy taking photos in IMPACT ! Agreed. For me, it's just a faint light thrown on the face to get some catch light in the eyes and get rid of some shadows on the face. When shooting RAW, LR does not recognise the camera's vivid settings. 400 to 500 sounds more like D800 NEF files. I need a new PC. Crawling when trying to open NEF files. Have you tried shooting 1800 pics before? QUOTE(amduser @ Apr 5 2012, 07:43 AM) ya is 16 raw, but mine only 10 raw and it started to slowdown, maybe because it is class 6 memory card? Should not start to slow down when you still have 10 in buffer... could be your lens hunting for focus? Shoot in manual focus and see if there's any differences. |

QUOTE(168257061 @ Apr 5 2012, 09:58 AM) Time for new desktop I want the next gen socket, mainly because buying now --> I cannot upgrade further already. If buy next gen socket can last 1 more generation LOL. This is the part I dislike about Intel, forever changing sockets!Actually anything sandy bridge i5/i7 is powerful enough already. just take 8gb ram because LR/PS eat a lot of page memory. Or should I jump ship to AMD? LOL |

QUOTE(metsatsu @ Apr 7 2012, 10:23 AM) I'm sure if I pushed the taoke of the shop a little more, he would have let go for RM9350. But since he's such a nice and honest man, I didn't feel like making his life difficult then Best I can get is RM9500 so far... and stocks limited... Maybe I should make a trip to Penang later on to grab one xD...I want the D800... |

QUOTE(hidden830726 @ Apr 7 2012, 01:42 PM) Wonder will they update firmware for D800, so far able to get one with cash, need to pay a friend of a friend to buy then courier back to KL, 1) dont feel like paying cash like that, 2) a bit sceptical on the few green tint problem. At least i could play my friend's D800 when he got his. If I can get my hands on a good deal before June, I'm on xD.Nevertheless, i heard alot of D800 going to UK or Europe, News agency 1st in prepare for the Olympics. Next restock in Malaysia, heard 2 version, 1) Mid April 2012 and May 2012. Wonder which true. So, maybe the best thing to do is dont do anything and wait. |
