Whoa, I fall alseep and we won.
DAMN. THAT TORRES STRIKE. GOSH. Why it doesn't go in! That's cracking volley.
Well, thanks god that we got the 3 points. Meireles and Essien combo isn't really working I'll say. We're not controlling the midfield at all.

Please give Sturridge a chance. He's only so young. Surely he can be better than Cristiano Ronaldo in the future.

Sturridge only selfish on 1 occasion this match. But already some of you keep saying he bad. Torres slipped twice at crucial moment, no one say bad about him.

I'm pretty fed up with the way the commentator was mentioning the whole match, said Torres form is not there yet, or the lads were poor and all those stuffs.

Sure the lads didn't play well last night, but the most important thing was we grind out for the win. Don't that always happened to the links of Man U or some other teams? It's about time we have this kind of luck, don't you think?

The fact is Sturridge is a bit selfish. And also i don't like the way he reacts when he doesnt get the pass from his teammates. Like the one from drogba, he could have easily pass the ball across goal to sturridge but opted to shoot instead. Both of them need to learn something from Torres.

ESPNStar rating on chelsea vs wigan players

Raul Meireles - 5.5
Probably one of Chelsea's worst purchases, second to Torres. Did not create much chances and could not keep possession for the team.

Daniel Sturridge - 5.5
His finishing abandoned him in this game. For the first time there was another player on the pitch worst than Torres.

Still wanna be so harsh on Torres? Stupid media doh.gif

on side note, i hope the FA will take a look into last night incident, the officials should be punish accordingly. how can they allowed Ivanovic which clearly off side. If it's MU then ok la understandably.

funny how the media thinks adding a Torres joke to every article can increase viewership or show that they are funny.

Hope the fans can stop booing Sturridge. Boo some more and if he ends up like Malouda now, then it'll be sad.

ESPN is turning into a stupid media fxck.
Their Torres 'jokes' are not funny, it doesn't make sense, it has no real sense, it is just pure bias shit.
Saw lot from them already.

It's true, Sturridge is a gem, he's the shinning star in our team. But sometimes when he's trying to do too much, here comes the hater. Honestly, I don't mind Sturridge being selfish, but of course, some matches like.. err, sorry I couldn't recall back, when he's selfish and failed few attempts but still don't want to pass, that's too much and he should take the blame. A striker is selfish, you don't want to see a striker who doesn't shoot right? smile.gif
Sturridge is young, he need a good environment to grow up. Please stop hating Sturridge.

The worst part was the crowd in Stamford Bridge were mocking Sturridge for that.

Leicester... this is probably the one you referring to. Although I like his touch, but that match, is total obvious.

i think it all came down to 'decision making'. to shoot or to pass. i still remember the first season ronaldo was at man u, he just dribble blindly and then loose the ball while there are other option that he can choose besides dribbling. but, this guy learn fast and he manage to prioritize things that need to be done.

these are the thing sturridge need to learn. don't be like nani. imo, nani never learns and he keep making stupid decision. that is why he never steps into the gap that ronaldo left. strikers are meant to be greedy but sturridge need to balance it out. since this involve the way of thinking, only he can help himself to overcome the obstacle. another player that is good indecision making is messi. go into soccernet and see how many he scored and how many he assist. the assist he got is way more that xavi!

Nani and Sturridge vs Ronaldo is a very good comparison there mate smile.gif You got the phrase absolutely right, 'decision making'. Sturridge need to get matured, once he has that, he can be one of the best in the world.
Messi, hah, tongue.gif you know he's just too good to compare. drool.gif But statistic don't tell everything sometimes, everyone knows Xavi has better passing ability than Messi.

Hmm, and yeah,Leicester game was the one I was referring to, thanks for pointing it out smile.gif
