Yes I believe it will. Not only mall but all the older shop lots. And the new uptown 8 office building. Price should appreciate in 2-3 years time. I received some offers to sell my unit at around 30% profit currently.

Could be re agent from syndicate to push up the price and delay flipper from flipping.

I am no agent. I am an investor with multiple condos in KL and PJ. Those who flip now are those who have no holding power.

That's good. Almost 10% p.a (CAGR basis).

Cos am reading reports for those gurus (appearing in newspaper, magazine) that malls do not really act as catalyst now for capital appreciation.

it depends on your mission and objective when bought the "stock".

if I am buying to flip, then flip its. it has nothing to do with holding power.

rent needs special time and care, buy and keep also need to maintain the property........each on its own....

If minus all that, maybe make 20% for uptown residences. At least still make in today's market means that devp is quite ok. Some I sold at a loss like the lousy Damansara foresta lost 60k when selling.
