Larson is more of a hardpack tire. Get's clogged up in mud easily. It's as good as Maxxis Detonator once clogged up. The Crossmark is more open threaded, not that good in wet areas, but still better than Larson. Just my two cents.

THE STAR today published a letter from Friends of Bukit Kiara highlighting the Fencing of Kiara Park and its consequences. It is now a good time to ride on this and put in our complaint and concern. The walkers does not care about the trails as they are not affected. The biggest affected community is the Mountain Biikers, if we don't fight our own war who is going to fight for us.

Ardent is large volume. No personal experience but from what I read, it's a pretty good tires.

IINM, Snapshot is using ARDENTs.

Technical Question

Is it true that it is more difficult to use your old tyres when you convert to tubeless? Does this mean one needs to get new tyres to run tubeless?

The thing is, it's harder to get a good seal for a used tires, as the pores are more open after some usage compared to new tires.

A DIY menthod is to use those Dunlop glues. Thin it out abit with some spirits, and 'paint' a thin layer or two in the inner casing with it after you throughly clean it. Apply some on the beads as well. The Dunlop glue will close up the pores.
