yup noobs should go fapfap with bike magazines 1st. simply mouthing off here is not gonna make you friends.
it is just Nissan GTR, not Skyline. and all those shows by natgeo and topgear not promo, what is?
anyway, that is pointless.
fork length and fork travel also dont know which is which. training wheels still on your trike want to about AM bike?
read a few more mags or go lepak at a bike shop more not at the naza showroom then come back, ok.

sorry, i'm noob. i don't have money to buy bicycle magazines to fap. all i can do is walk around shops and ask them about it. basically i got to learn it the hard way. some shop will share with me their knowledge and some don't. which basically most of them won't as they think this is a waste of time.
also sorry that i don't know what is the different of fork length and travel.
which is why i'm here to learn..if this is not a suitable place to learn, i'll know what to do next.

At least I know I get better resale value compared to a Ford Fiesta...
Added on December 12, 2012, 1:38 amGot Skyline la... There were R32, R33, R34 and another one just Skyline...
And then... there is Godzilla!
i don't really care about resale value when i purchase anything including a car or a bike. all i want is the feel that the item they can provide to me. so far i can't really get the feel as most of the shop rarely offer me to test/ride on their bikes. so this is pretty hard for me to judge.

5k exclude frame? easy la...go bikepro or ksh custom built one.
easily get the spec u like.
look at cypreza signature for a list of bike shops
Added on December 12, 2012, 9:32 amthere is a skyline with no GTR version. car look like luxury sedan rather than racy look.
Added on December 12, 2012, 9:52 amchill....
who say no one use 150mm... a lot what... it boild down to what kind of riding u like. u dun use 203 for xc ride like wise 150mm depend on where u ride.
who say skyline no advertising... they spend even more advert than regular sedan car. just that they do a different kind of advertising..sponsoring motorsport team, car reviews and such are adverts as well.. dun get suck into thinking they dun spend on marketing. niche cars like these depend alot on adverts.
zesty 214 is lowest end of the zesty range... need to compare spec vs which Meta AM version u looking at.
the 214 fork, shock evolution series. not sure what series is that. and component make a lot of different to the bike. not just the frame design. go read reviews, reviews usually are good on their top end model. but the same range lowest end model usually fair very bad. dun fall into marketing plot.
also it depend on the price you getting also.... u mentioned u get good price for zesty...but the thing we dunno how much u getting and you not sharing... very hard to advise if the more expensive meta AM is actually more value for the better component it come with.
do some home work on ur end too. some bike frame is design to take a fix fork length, some can take a range. like nomad can take 160-180mm fork... depending on ur riding style. and also modern fork can have travel adjust... so it is not true to generalize bike must maintain the fork travel length.
