Not safe.
Bike lane? Got bike lane in PJ? rolleyes.gif

got, along federal highway..there is a bike lane on the far left.

if i would to use sprint, then there isn't any bike lane. sometimes i do see people ride along sprint highway nearby pusat sains negara.

so there isn't any safe route to cycle from PJ to KL?

you are cycling across roads meant for motorized vehicles...of coz its not safe with those fast traffic around... especially crossing junctions and such.... you can still cycle on road like many other do... but at your own risk la...

btw, cycling on road is not mountain biking!! here mainly are mountain bikers... we mainly ride inside jungles and have very little to do on road. and it is far safer in my opinion... fall down mean eat dirt... on road u grind on the tarmac at speed.

do check with the cycling group in the other cycling thread. they do more road riding across everywhere. they'll give u better advice

Not sure if anyone in here have used Zesty before. But I think Lapierre in Malaysia is a bit expensive. Not value for money (my opinion la).

My guess would be Specialized Stumpjumper Comp?, Giant Reign 1, Commencal AM, just to name a few.

The issues you worried about normally won't happen. wear and tear, efficiency etc.

But with good colors, you won't regret, the only thing you worry is something with better colors in future.

yeah... we bash the design for possible mud clad... but then it still a very cool bike.
you can still pampered and clean that area more often. meta does come with some sort of guard to reduce mud collecting around the shock area. go check it out... maybe it works for u...

you mean the meta am is good? i don't really like the blue..i actually fall in love the zesty 214 2013 model..it comes with red dash with white base.

also after looking most of the review on meta am, most of them are pretty satisfy on the bike performance but the only turn down is the placement of the rear sus.

as for zesty 214, 2013 model. most of them claim to be the best buy. not sure did "leper" paid them to say so or they really speak from their experience

i would say below retail price lo..i don't feel comfortable to disclose the price here. people's rice bowl, feel bad form me to spit on it la..some more so many cycling kaki here..hahaha

i would actually plan to buy a bike that i don't really need to add any accessories if possible. the max i would add is just the headlights and rear lights for the moment. wait till i'm really getting the drive in me, then i'll slowly upgrade part by part

Added on December 5, 2012, 6:27 pmwow..after looking at the video at youtube at PCP and Kiara, it is surely something that i would like to test my balls..hahaha

just wondering, do we need to ride the bike up or carry?
