QUOTE(Cyphereza @ Nov 27 2012, 06:45 PM) Yup. Any oso can. U want to use truck's brand oso can. u mean, if my fork is locked, it stil can bounce if d floodgate is low??Floodgate is for how much force is needed (when fork is locked) to get the fork compress. If force not high enough, fork feel rigid when locked. |

QUOTE(Cyphereza @ Nov 27 2012, 07:14 PM) Yup. But i think just a little bit. And, set the floodgate only when the fork is locked. And, even tho the fork can bounce, doesn't mean you should bounce it. so, mybe i leave it in stock setting..btw, i dont really like it to lock d fork..bouncy2 is better |

QUOTE(bo093 @ Nov 28 2012, 09:20 PM) Help me out waste my money on another bike component. Basically rims are choosen according to your riding style. Weight is usually the main criteria but for down hill rides, a lighter rim may not withstand heavy bashing so you must choose between rigidity and weight. For XC rides or as I can see in KL, mostly tar road rides, I think it is safe to choose any wheelsets that you fancy.Gonna get a rim, to build my new wheelset. But I don't understand those rims specs. ERD? Inner width? Other width? But the holes I paham la The more spokes it has, the easier it is to align and also more spokes makes the rim stronger just as in BMXes where some wheelsets are full of spokes. Off course less spokes makes the rim looks aesthetic so again i9t up to you to choose which category do you want to ride in. Then there's spokes! Good spokes are not cheap too, eg. DT Swiss and some are even colored. |
