All paint stripper will strip paint. Alternately bring your frame to MOX and dump it into their acid pool. Much faster that way.
*
But doesn't some damages metal? Specially Aluminium?
Nevermind, bought some paint stripper. Will do a test patch first.
I think dumping into an acid pool is not budget friend for college kids. tongue.gif

forget wet paint and primer coat, it makes your frame heavy and the paint chip easily.
Go for powdercoating for best results, or just leave it raw. Looks badass.

A few ounces on my frame? Damn, i wont able to jump high enough and do superman.

Acid dips are used in the process of anodizing. Ofcourse it depends on the grade of the acid I presume. By sanding off the the paints from your frame, you're risking of thinning the material more than acid dip. So if acid dips are ok for aluminum, paint stripper, which is a mild type of acid is safe for paint removing from an aluminum frame.

You'll risk of burning your hand and legs with the paint stripper more than risking damaging the frame. Both DIY and hardcore way is given. If you still wanna thick skulled bout it, just sand it smooth and paint it up to whatever color of your liking.
*
Thanks for the info. wink.gif
Ask my LBS, he use paint stripper for his bike.
I know how paint stripper feel on my hand. cry.gif
Quite painful. Thank god for water. Deactivate the burning sensation.

If your current QR slips, I don't think these bolt on will help. Try Shimano QRs. They bind tighter. If you're slipping on your horizontal dropouts, get a chain tugger. Most bike shops have chain tuggers. My fren's using a pair together with QR, no slip.
*
Doesn't slip.
Not using horizontal dropouts yet. brows.gif
Sometimes when I crash, the QR go to open mode. But I won't say all the time.
After that it slowly open up. I won't notice since its tighten quite well at first.
I mostly notice when I open up my wheel to put it in the car.
For somebody that is lazy or clumsy like me.
That Halo Hex Key Skewer look promising, unless I overtighten like those who complain. doh.gif

Let's talk rims, do you bunny hop or do the table top? I doubt so. In that case any rims will do right? Do you do full sommersault? I doubt that too.  biggrin.gif  For that even the original rims from XDS bike will suffice.
