Do not call your fellow kopites glory hunters.

They still support Liverpool FC despite the poor league position.
They still support the club despite the manager delivers poor results/poor signings.

No one is bigger than the club.

Look at the results, who is having fantasy?

admit it...some here are those.

And Im not supporting LFC?

QUOTE(carloz28 @ Apr 9 2012, 08:19 AM)
Aleune, he can't help it. He is obviously one deluded fan who thinks by chanting YNWA week in week out, it will make him the ultimate No 1 Liverpool fan and he can go around deriding other non KK fans and calling them names and so on. Stick to the topic and justify your facts if you think KK should stay or vice versa. If he is a rival fan, I wouldn't be so polite with my words right now.

Let's get this straight, supporting the club doesn't mean supporting the manager. Two different entities. IF you back a failing manager like Woy, you are equally guilty of doing a disservice to the club.
*
wow...morning butthurt. chill. laugh.gif

if ure kopites, u shud know where we are now anyways n support the roadmap dat we follow.
I support where are now. I will say something if i have something to say. Not that saying it here will make any difference anyways. laugh.gif

Woy of course is a different story entirely laugh.gif

Forums are for lively interaction and sharing of information/ideas/opinions. We must accept differences and take it all in good faith and fun. It is good to have an avenue to air one's thoughts, but try not to get worked up when others have different opinions.

Henry & co will not be checking the forums to help them make decisions, and neither will any other member of LFC's management.

As for KD, I believe he is one person who doesn't need to be told that he's no longer wanted. He will gladly vacate his position for the sake of the club if he thinks he is no longer good enough.

Let's wait and see what happens at the end of this season, because the man will definitely do something to ensure that LFC improves. He is not in this for the money (cos he's pretty wealth off, if I'm not wrong) nor for personal glory (cos he's well acclaimed) - so, he's motivated by something far bigger and stronger..

I don't doubt your support for LFC.
I just pointed out you don't call other kopites glory hunter.

What sort of glory in Liverpool you see today? What's there to hunt?
I only see pure support from true fans for the club.

Speaking of the league games, we have already had the poorest record in 10 years even if we win the remaining games.
I think they probably meant that.

QUOTE(Adryan @ Apr 9 2012, 09:21 AM)
That is because Roy Hodgson never won three league titles, two FA Cups and four Charity Shields with Liverpool. Yeah, titles in Scandinavia are very prestigious eh.

Made us play some of the shittiest football I've ever seen Liverpool play.

He insulted the fans who protested against the owners and that man's 'famous European away' win is against Trabzonspor rather than 'Barcelona at Nou Camp' under Rafa.

He publicly criticised Glen Johnson. Told Pepe Reina to stop distrubing the ball but kick it long and be more English.

He frozed out Daniel Agger and all his pre- and post- match interviews were disgraceful as hell. Said "I won't say Fernando Torres won't leave" when there were rumours of him going to United but Rafa and Kenny would say 'No, he is not for sale'.

Woy Hodgson continued to ass-kissed Ferguson and was always happy with a point even at home and said we played our best of the season when the Bitters beat us 2-0 at Goodison Park where we were utterly dreadful.
*
Roy Hodgson didn't win the cups and titles and hence he should have more criticism than KK?
Double standard.

For me, all managers that deliver poor results and sign mediocre players get criticism.

For me, titles and cups are secondary.
The foremost thing I love to see is, Liverpool that play lively football (instead of ugly football).

I won't go as far as calling for his crown, but King Kenny does need a slap on the wrist from the powers that be. And so does the rest of the management and coaching staff. And perhaps the players a well.

Which i think the yanks have already done.

But knowing Dalglish's ways, he would assume the blame and say the buck stops with him. That's why he's our King!

His intention is good. No question about it.
Whether he can do the job or deliver the result is a different thing.

Just like Carra, his intention is good. No question about it.
Whether he can perform on the field is a different thing.

We need to get real. Let the result (that includes the signing of players) speak for itself.

As I said, there is justification why I think he should go.
To be fair, KK himself needs to (show results) justify why he should stay in the job.

oh man..

IF there's anyone deserve to have another season despite poor league form it's Kenny. I didn't like some of his decisions on players selection and tactics but damn.. the man deserve time to rebuild. Let see who he will bring and sold this summer first.

But I believe Kenny will step down if the board ask him too. He said so before and I believe him.

LFC fans comparing him to Roy.. ohmy.gif

Crticism is an inevitable for a football manager.

Same goes to the up and down cycle. KD might not be perfect, but after the previous yank dismal, he is the right one to be a gaffer.

I am no Kops fan, but please permit me to voice my piece.

First and foremost, the management of LFC should stick by KD. Look at what MU did in the late 90s to AF. They gave him the benefit of doubt and he build a strong team in 2 - 3 years.
IMO, KD should make some changes on the players and find the core players that he wanted the whole team to play around. He should use different strategy in confronting different teams. So far I can only see Gerard as being the better players among all the current players in the team.
I do hope to see a better Liverpool team emerge in next season. (see how Arsenal has slowly becoming a strong team even after the sales of their better players this season)

Have a Good Day.

Well said , and i would like to add something here. I do notice that Kenny does not stick his winning team. He does not settle down with consistent lineup or consistent formation. The other decision he has to make is on Andy Carroll. Give him games , more games and exposure. Play him week in week out and no just bench him and bring him when required. Promote youngsters to 1st team, Raheem Sterling, Suso, Amoo, Coady. Use the strength of youngsters. Coates , in my opinion needs to adopt English football as quick as he can. I would like to Johnson, Kelly , Agger in the team soon. Lucas, outstanding performer in the first few games for us before off injury, should make a return and strengthen our upcoming season

Bring on a natural winger and striking partner for Suarez. Get another striker fgs!

Fergie had a good record.
He brought ManU to 2nd place during his first full season as manager. That has pretty much stamped his destiny as ManU manager.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1987%E2%80%93...nglish_football
Besides, Fergie made sensible signings (Steve Bruce, Brain McClair, Jim Leighton). Those players had made immediate impact to the team (they played good exciting football).
He had also convinced the club owner with his coaching and scout system.
There were justifications to give Fergie job.

Now, let's compare it with King Kenny's.
Top position? No.
Sensible signings? No.
Good football? No.
Stronger squad? No.
A convinced coaching and scout system (that can bring the club forward)? No one knows, except Liverpool owner and the staff.

P/S
In fact, modern football is very different as compared to 1980s/early 90s.
Alan Shearer was a record signing @ 3.5millions.
Cheap wages. Cheap transfer fees in 80s/early 90s.
In modern football, Liverpool have spent 100+millions in a year. Expensive mediocre players and I don't think we can spend like that every season (unless we have an oil tycoon owner).

P/S
ManU and Arsenal can produce youth players from their youth academy.

Why compare Fergie with KD?

Fergie is Fergie, KD is KD.

Liverpool players cant play together, individually they are probably good, but as a unit they're shit. Look at Rooney and Welbeck. the whole United squad is amazing together. You cant say we dont have good players, or they have better players. Because individually both teams have almost the same abilities when it comes to players. We just dont play as well together as they do. thats why they're champions again this season (fo sho).
